Jiang Li carried the noodles straight out of the kitchen and came to the front yard.
Uncle had already returned from the fields, and he was sorting through a basket of freshly picked sweet potatoes.
Jiang Li walked over and placed the noodles on the stool in front of him.
"Uncle, I made some noodles. Please give them a try."
Uncle looked at Jiang Li, then at the noodles, quickly putting down what he was holding and making gestures.
Jiang Li smiled and shook her head, "It's okay, there are plenty in the kitchen. We have enough to eat. I just used a little of your noodles earlier. I'll find a way to return them to you later."
Uncle quickly waved his hand, telling Jiang Li that she didn't need to return anything.
Then he picked up the bowl of noodles and took a bite. His eyes widened instantly, and he kept giving Jiang Li thumbs up.
Jiang Li smiled even more sweetly, "I'm glad you like it, Uncle."
