Ruby, the Headmistress of Silverleaf Academy, gritted her teeth as she raised both hands, water swirling violently around her.

Across from her, standing calmly in the center of the ruined courtyard, was a woman in ragged clothing.
Her eyes were covered by a black blindfold, and her feet were bare. Yet she moved like a ghost, silent and unstoppable.
And Ruby… was losing.
Badly.
No matter what spell Ruby cast, no matter how strong her magic was, it was all useless.
Each time she attacked, the woman raised a hand and waved it gently, like brushing away dust, and the spell dissolved before it even touched her.
