Ian's eyes widened after reading the last line.
"Ten thousand times?" he whispered to himself. His voice trembled, not from fear, but from excitement. That number was far beyond anything he had ever imagined. Even the strongest enemies he had faced didn't have a power-up like this.
He looked at his hand. Energy moved across his skin like soft blue fire, calm but powerful. He slowly raised his hand, and with just a thought, the sky above him split open. Clouds scattered. The wind howled. A strange pressure filled the air.
He quickly closed his fist again. "I have to be careful... I could destroy this planet by accident."
Even though he had this power, Ian didn't feel arrogant. He knew this kind of strength could attract attention, dangerous attention.
"Someone must've noticed already," he said. "Gods, devils, watchers… they're probably watching me now."
He wasn't wrong.
