Chapter 203 - Chapter 203 - The Relationship.

[Chapter Size: 2100 Words.]

Third Person POV

Kaer Morhen.

...

...

The sound of the waterfall echoed through the area as the water exploded below it, creating foam in all directions.

There was a large lake around it, at least thirty meters in diameter.

The sound of water stirring as someone emerged from it came from a corner, as a girl with platinum hair — if no one is lying, Ciri — surfaced, tossing her hair back after a quick dive.

When her gaze returned to the shore, among the rocks, she saw Madara leaning, with his elbow resting on the rocks, relaxing.

She splashed her hands in the water, moving toward him with a smile, and he, who had his eyes closed, opened them as he saw her approach.

Her smile remained as she got close enough to wrap her arms around his neck.

She came even closer and, once settled there, kissed him.

She pulled back with a smile before kissing him again, entwining their tongues, since Ciri loved to kiss him.

He had been the target of that in recent weeks, ever since he returned.

"I think we better go... we've been here too long," he said, as they were in one of the corners of the Kaer Morhen region, often going out alone to explore, whether to train or spend time together.

"Are you sure?" she suddenly said in a teasing tone, as she sat on top of him.

"Hmm" She moaned a little, closing her eyes as she "settled" on top of him with Madara already prepared for it, before returning to him, smiling.

"You want to do this again... just be careful not to get pregnant and take that tea." Madara commented while also giving in to the pleasure with his partner.

"I'll ask Triss later." She said as she kissed him again and made love right there.

Madara had noticed a much more active and daring Ciri since he returned, knowing it had something to do with the teachings she had been receiving from Triss Merigold, no doubt.

They had their first time a few weeks ago, with Ciri stating she wanted him to make her his woman, and so he did, with them sleeping together for the first time and having sex whenever they could, but being careful to avoid pregnancy.

And so they stayed there, with her on top of him for a dozen minutes, switching a few positions before finally leaving the waterfall's water.

"We could train a bit at Kaer Morhen once we get there." She suggested.

"Yes." Madara agreed as he put on his clothes and tied a cloth strip to secure it at his waist.

"Why don't we bet on a race to the castle?" She asked excitedly.

"You know you can't beat me in that." Madara replied.

"I'm getting really good with my powers... I think I can beat you." She insisted, while Madara knew she couldn't beat him anyway, even with her teleport cheat.

Either way, Ciri fully dressed and tied her hair back after drying it with some kind of magic she'd learned.

She saw Madara putting his bag around his waist and took the opportunity to shine.

In the next moment, Ciri appeared on top of a tree with Madara turning his gaze toward her right after.

"I'll start." She shouted, putting both hands in front of her mouth to make her voice echo louder.

And in the next moment, she shimmered and appeared on another tree farther away, already knowing the direction where Kaer Morhen was.

Madara watched her teleport again to another tree branch, while she landed on each branch and tried to balance herself, nearly falling with each step she took, her body swaying as she moved her hands not to fall with each teleport, moving on to the next tree as she judged the best place to teleport, firm enough not to break the branch and make her fall.

Madara sighed, it was clear this was one of her games, as she would never be faster than him at moving through trees.

Something she had been trying to do, inspired by him, while he had to save her a few times after she teleported wrong or landed on a fragile branch that broke.

Madara then leapt into the trees, advancing after her, and Ciri immediately looked back, surprised, as she tried to hurry so Madara wouldn't catch her.

He looked on with boredom, watching her grow nervous as she saw him approaching without haste, while she tried to use her teleport more irresponsibly, which would result in her falling.

He then picked up the pace as he already saw her making mistakes.

And so it happened.

Ciri was in such a rush that she stepped in the wrong place, the branch snapping under her weight, and she began to fall, screaming.

"AHH!!"

Madara immediately surged forward, placing chakra on his feet as he sped up.

He quickly caught her, stepping on the ground before returning to the trees as he ran toward the castle with Ciri in his arms.

"You have to be careful..." Madara warned.

"Maybe I did it on purpose..." she muttered stubbornly.

"You have to focus on where you step, since there are parts that can't support your weight." he commented.

"Are you calling me fat? Am I heavy?!" she immediately accused.

"Of course not, I can carry an entire ox, you're no problem." Madara said.

"Right... Wait!!!"

She immediately realized the massive comparison Madara made, feeling offended by him comparing her to an ox, while he smiled and advanced, ignoring her protests.

They arrived some time later near the castle.

"Triss is still trying to go after Geralt, did you know that?"

Madara couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the gossip she was bringing up.

She had mentioned over the past few weeks how Triss was being quite active in trying to win over the witcher, not that Madara wanted to know about it, but Ciri always commented.

"I don't think she'll succeed... To me, he and Yennefer were doing just fine when they left each other." he said, giving one of his few and rare opinions on the matter.

"I think so too, but she seems really determined.

When I asked why she was so persistent, she said she owed her life to Geralt for getting her out of that situation before the war really happened..." Ciri commented.

"I see... Let them sort it out, it has nothing to do with us."

Madara said, finally arriving at the castle, as they landed at the entrance and set the girl down.

They entered and found Geralt chopping wood in the training yard.

Triss and Isabela were on the castle walls watching, while the girl had a book in her hand, studying as always.

"You've arrived..." Geralt stopped chopping wood.

"Yes..." Ciri said cheerfully, as she disappeared and grabbed a training sword by teleporting to the spot, seeming quite playful today, disappearing the next moment and heading toward Madara, even surprising the people who were watching.

Madara calmly watched her doing all that and looked at her the moment she appeared above him, launching an attack.

"Try dodging this!" she said laughing, while Madara was fast enough to kick her downward attack, the wooden sword hitting the sole of his sandal.

She was surprised by that, glowing green and disappearing.

Reappearing at his side, trying to catch him off guard, while Madara turned to the side, dodging her attack as she passed by him.

"What do you think?" she laughed, not worried about attacking him like that, knowing full well he could handle any attack coming from her.

She appeared in front of him and took a swing, where Madara ducked and quickly struck her arm, pulling a training sword from his scroll arsenal, as another attack from Ciri came in, striking from the side, with him turning and both swords clashing against each other.

"..." Ciri just smiled as she shimmered and appeared elsewhere, attacking him.

Geralt scratched his head at that, not knowing why the two immediately—or rather, why Ciri started attacking him the moment she arrived—but they seemed to be having fun with the girl's laughter.

But Geralt had to admit it was scary how good she had become with that ability, which just a few months ago she had trouble with, but with the training she had from Triss, it helped her a lot.

Even Triss was watching the fight with Isabela as they looked on, with Madara attacking too, while Ciri blinked like a firefly from one side to the other with swords clashing the whole time.

The fight continued for a while, until Ciri began to tire, not very used to that, and her magic was exhausting on its own.

She dropped to her knees on the ground, letting go of her wooden sword, panting.

"Damn..." she murmured.

"You lasted 5 minutes using your power nonstop, I'm impressed." Madara commented.

"I thought I could catch you off guard like that, but I didn't even touch you and you didn't even need to use your sharingan, do you understand how unfair that is?" she murmured, quite dissatisfied.

"You're getting good, you're no longer a helpless girl like you used to be." Madara said in a serious tone.

"I know... but I wanted to be better..." she admitted.

"And you will be, but everything in its time, Ciri." Madara said, offering his hand to her, and she accepted it and stood up.

"Can we fight like them?" Isabela asked carefully, looking at Triss, watching that fight even if it was short—it was a spectacle.

"Highly doubt it..." Triss muttered, knowing they didn't have the capacity to fight like warriors, especially like those two beings full of unique abilities.

They headed to the castle afterward, with Ciri acting all limp, throwing herself onto Madara's back, him carrying her into the castle, passing Geralt who had gone back to chopping wood as they entered the place.

"You two put on quite the show down there huh..." Lambert laughed as he passed by them also leaving the castle.

They went on to rest, and that night they all ate together.

"Ciri, let's go to the lab." Triss asked the girl after dinner, as she followed the sorceress into the place.

"Sit in the chair while we check your head." she said, analyzing Ciri's mind in relation to her magic, as part of a treatment due to her uncontrolled prophecies, while her fingers found the area above the girl's ears, beginning to concentrate.

They stayed there a while as Ciri also tried to focus, but already quite used to it, being done every 2 or 3 days, causing her moments of instability to completely stop while Ciri began gaining more control over her abilities.

This was one of the results of how she had started using her teleport much more frequently like that afternoon.

"That's good..." Triss said as Ciri got up from the chair.

"Triss..." Ciri seemed hesitant.

"Can you give me a little more of that...?" she murmured a bit embarrassed.

"Yes... but don't overuse it, it can harm your body... Use it only during your fertile period." Triss said, picking up some mixtures to make a tea, a kind of contraceptive to prevent Ciri from getting pregnant.

"I'll mark the correct period this time." she said, still getting lost in her bleeding days and no longer knowing exactly when she would be fertile, having the contraceptive as something that could harm her.

"Besides... I've been telling you to behave better, like a lady." Triss said in a stern tone.

Since the sorceress arrived to begin teaching the princess, they had been talking about everything from magic, behavior, and even sexuality, with Ciri receiving various tips on how she could act with Madara.

It was no wonder they had deepened their relationship as they had, but taking care that she didn't get pregnant at this moment due to it being dangerous for everyone.

Ciri had received a scolding when she clung to Madara the day he returned from the west, being told that a lady should behave much better than that, while Triss began to discover how hyperactive and stubborn she was.

"Now let's go back to the others..." Triss said at the end as they walked.

With everyone else seeing them approach, Ciri sat next to Madara while they all chatted at the table, telling jokes among themselves and laughing.

Madara had to admit it was one of the few moments they truly relaxed, as Ciri laughed loudly and shouted some things at Lambert for talking too much, Geralt giving a lecture, and even Isabela giggled quietly, with Vesemir, Triss, and Coen interacting in their own way — but how long would this last?
