As the elders returned, their shoulders slumped, Yin Kai was pouring glasses of wine from the Ancestral World.
The best thing about time dilation is what you can use it for.
Giving the glasses to the assorted elders and Sect Master Rang Kang, he spoke. "A toast! To the Martial Heaven Beast Sect!"
As the elders sputtered after a single sip, he shouted again. "A toast! To Heavenly Phoenix Peak!"
"To Heavenly Phoenix Peak!"
As he continued pressing toasts, he watched the elders grow more and more drunk. As cultivators, they had a natural immunity to toxins.
Yin Kai was lucky that the Dragon Overlord had planted a few grapes in his mansion before dying. Since they were above the Immortal Tier, the wine tended to be too.
The Yin God Body was not good for drinking, but it was great in a drinking contest.
"My friends, and fellow men, I see the hot-bloodedness and honor that only a true man can possess! A toast! To being true to ourselves and our brothers!"
"A toast! Here here!"
As Yin Kai filled all the empty glasses, several of the elders fell over. As Yin Kai and the few remaining elders glanced at each other, Yin Kai continued pretending to be drunk.
"Bruthas, lez make (hic) a deal."
"I give the Huo fammy guy a secon egg."
Stumbling, he kept up the act.
"I still giv my bruthaz da firs egg any'ays."
Rang Kang clapped him on the shoulder. "To clever men!"
Drinking another round, everyone fell to the ground. Shaking his hands, Yin Kai pulled an egg out of his spatial ring. It was the egg of his and Caihong's second-born child, a Fire Phoenix.
"This is my (hic) son. My wife- she doesn kno bout me. I have needs- she doesn unnerstan."
"I have a lis of tings I need. Trade mighty might beas sect fr dem."
Yin Kai pulled out a scroll. "Basically, I jus wan whatz on it an everyting you say befor."
The powerful minds of the elders took a long look at the paper.Then the Supreme Elder, Second Elder, Third Elder, and Punishment Elder looked at each other.
"Sectmaster Kang, you shu sign it."
"Yeah, you shu sign it."
"Maste Kang, thi deal look good."
The burly sectmaster through up his hands. "Al'ight, al'ight, if yo all thin' I shu sign, I, Rang Kang," here he paused for effect, "The 1197th Sect Master of Marshu Heavena Beast Sex, wii sign dis papu."
With a strong hand, he signed the paper. "Than you, sect maste."
With an extravagant bow, Yin Kai flourished the paper. Using a powerful secret art (the one and only Phoebe) he copied the paper seven times and gave a copy to each of the elders.
After sect master Rang Kang placed the egg in his life ring, they drank until they passed out.
Taking a small vial, Yin Kai pulled out a pill and ate it. Afterwards, he found himself full of energy.
Walking out the pavilion's front door, he nodded to a nearby servant and motioned towards his fallen friends, offering an explanation. "They had too much to drink."
As the stunned servant looked into the hall, he cheerfully continued down the path. After walking for a time, he found himself at Hidden Dragon Peak.
After speaking to one of the disciples working the field, he was directed to the monitoring elder. "I'm sorry." She said. "I'm afraid that I'm here on the Peak Master's behalf, and don't have the authority to acknowledge any request you might have."
"Nonsense!" Yin Kai responded. "I have a written note from the Sect Master himself. I can borrow any beast from the Sect for a time period up to a year in length. Here, read this."
As the poor woman read the tiny letters, her eyes grew bigger and bigger. "How'd he get away with this?!"
As she acknowledged the text, Yin Kai took back the scroll. "I'm here for my first beast. Report it to the Elder Hall. I'll be borrowing your female Windcutter Flood Dragon."
Acceding, the woman called the flood dragon over. "This man is here to take you out into the world for a year or so."
The Flood Dragon roared. 'What stinky man?!'
With a tiny amount of Dragon Suppression, Yin Kai subdued it. Taking the fallen dragon into the Ancestral World, he waved goodbye to the stunned caretaker and walked away. Once he made it to a safe place, he disappeared.
In the Ancestral World, a flood dragon mysteriously gave birth to a true dragon. Vowing never to forget her magical experience, she ate a boundless pill and broke her word.
