Chapter 3 - The Meeting Behind the Door

I stepped out of my luxurious room, heading toward the academy's main building. It stood tall and grand—a true architectural marvel exuding refinement and prestige.

The moment I entered, I walked straight to the director's office. Two guards stood at the door, their eyes filled with hostility—probably because of what I did to the so-called royal whore. Many idolized the royal family for their power and status… but me? I couldn't care less.

I said coldly:— I have a meeting with the director. Open the door.

One of them looked like he was about to explode, but a calm voice from inside said:— Let him in.

Without waiting, I opened the door myself and walked in.And I was... stunned.

The director was breathtaking.A woman with an overwhelming presence—wide green eyes, hair black as the night, and skin as pale as snow. And her body… simply flawless.

She spoke in a soft, melodic voice:— So, you've come, Lord Arin von Reinhaver.

I gave a faint smile.— Who would refuse a meeting with such a beautiful lady?

She replied with professional composure:— I appreciate the compliment, but I want to hear your version of the incident.

— That brat attacked me first. I only defended myself.

— "Brat"? You mean Princess Elissa?

— Does that matter? I am the youngest prince of House Reinhaver.

— And what about your threat to your professor?

— Was he even worth the title? Weak. Useless. He's lucky I didn't kill him.

She sighed and said:— Be that as it may, I have no choice but to suspend you for a day or two. Threatening a professor, even here, can't be overlooked.

I thought to myself: Maybe it's time for a little vacation.

— Actually, I'll be leaving to train for a few months. Just before the academy competition and the ranking exams.

— And who said I'd allow that?

— I think you misunderstood… I wasn't asking. I was informing you.

She gave a small smile and asked:— And how long will this "vacation" be?

— Four months. Right before the competition.

— Very well. Just make sure your family i

I left her office and headed back to the dorms.Time to rest... or rather, prepare for the real training.

🔹 The Director's Perspective:

After he left, she let out a long sigh, memories resurfacing—ones she could never forget.

At the peak of a mountain of corpses stood a boy, no older than ten.His hair, white as snow. His eyes, streaming with tears. His face, overwhelmed with sorrow.Around him lay the bodies of murderers and criminals, and his small face was stained with their blood.

That haunting contrast—his tender age against the scale of destruction—was something burned into her memory.

He had collapsed that day, unconscious from overusing mana. And from that day forward… she knew. That child would never be ordinary.
