The circular platform inscribed with countless Immortal Talismans passed the main containment area of the Demon Suppression Tower, continuing to descend towards the cave at the base of the Tower, a cave so deep it gave the illusion of reaching the planet's core.
Around the platform, deep within the rough and primitive stone walls, streams of light occasionally flashed. Between jagged protruding rock formations, bright and short arcs of electricity jumped. The further they descended, the more these light flows and arcs increased, eventually forming continuous "rivers" underground.
The so-called "rivers" of light flowed from the rocks, intersecting and coursing through the air, their light ebbing and swelling like pulse and breath.
