Chapter 302 - Chapter 302: "Battle in the Skies"

[Unnoticed by Vulture, Spider-Man clung to the exterior of the plane, struggling to pry open the vacuum-sealed hatch.]

[Inside, Vulture removed his helmet and surveyed the massive cargo crates before him, a smug grin spreading across his face.]

["Wow!" He had expected a big haul, but this was beyond his imagination.]

[He randomly opened a few crates and was stunned to find technology he could have never dreamed of—boxes full of Ark Reactors, high-tech weapons, and even components from Iron Man suits.]

[Vulture picked up a Mark Armor helmet, curled his lip in disdain, and tossed it aside.]

[Outside, Spider-Man braced his legs against the vacuum seal and pushed with all his might. After relentless effort, the hatch finally budged open slightly.]

[A rush of air instantly sucked out of the cabin, setting off loud alarms. Vulture spun toward the cockpit in alarm, only to realize that Spider-Man was once again sabotaging his plans.]

[Seeing his heist being jeopardized, Vulture roared in frustration. Just as Spider-Man continued to force the hatch open, Vulture's mechanical wings suddenly extended, knocking him back.]

[Spider-Man quickly scrambled up the side of the plane, while Vulture circled around on the other side. Reaching the door, the young hero muttered to himself.]

["It's just a normal back-to-school season! Except now it's taking place on an invisible plane! Ah—!" Before he could finish, a gust of wind nearly knocked him off, forcing him to grip the fuselage tightly.]

[Leaning against the aircraft, he continued to mumble. "And to top it all off, I'm fighting my girlfriend's dad!"]

"If you wanna marry the girl, you gotta fight the father-in-law! Hahaha!"

Second-Gen Gwen chuckled at Spider-Man's words before glancing at Second-Gen Spider-Man.

She still remembered how he had fought her father, George Stacy, and even knocked him to the ground.

Second-Gen Spider-Man scratched his head with an awkward smile. "That... that wasn't on purpose!"

George, chewing on a piece of fish, grumbled. "Yeah? Well, your fans didn't see it that way!"

He still hadn't forgotten how his police station had been swarmed by Spider-Man fanatics after that incident.

Helen rolled her eyes at George, unimpressed with his grudge. "Oh, drop it. You're just embarrassed you lost to a kid."

"Yeah, yeah, I get it," Second-Gen Spider-Man said with a shrug, taking it in stride.

[While Spider-Man was still muttering to himself, Vulture suddenly charged at him. Reacting fast, Spider-Man fired a web, ducking just in time to evade the attack.]

[Vulture's wing scraped against the side of the plane, leaving a long gash that sparked violently. Spider-Man, yanked by his own web, was thrown into the air.]

[Thinking fast, he shot another web to attach to the plane, using it to pull Vulture back and restrict his movements.]

[However, the section of the plane's outer wall where the web was attached gave way, breaking off entirely. At the same time, Vulture sliced through the webbing with his talons, leaving them both suspended in mid-air.]

[The aircraft loomed toward them at high speed. Seeing it approach, Spider-Man's eyes widened in horror. "Oh, help!!!"]

[Acting on instinct, he shot several webs at the plane's engine just as it reached him. The engine sucked in the webbing, slowing the impact—but it also dragged Spider-Man along with it.]

[Vulture, caught in the chaos, got one of his wings stuck in the engine. He struggled to free himself, but his thrashing only caused irreversible damage to the turbine.]

[Spider-Man, tangled in the now-disabled engine, let out a relieved sigh. "Phew! That actually worked!"]

[But before he could celebrate, the entire engine detached from the wing. Luckily, a strand of webbing stuck to it, preventing Spider-Man from plummeting immediately.]

[He quickly reached out, grabbed onto the plane's fuselage, and kicked the engine away with several strong kicks before climbing back up.]

[Vulture, having regained control, resumed his attack, speeding toward the aircraft once more. Spider-Man turned to see him coming and barely dodged the razor-sharp wings.]

[A fresh tear split open the top of the plane. Spider-Man nearly lost his footing, nearly tumbling toward the high-speed turbines below.]

[He struggled to steady himself, but Vulture came at him again, forcing him to retreat while clinging onto the aircraft for dear life.]

[When Vulture attacked, he drove his wings into the fuselage for stability, then used their momentum to launch rapid, powerful strikes.]

[Spider-Man tried sticking to the fuselage with his webs, but Vulture swiftly cut through them. Thrown backward, he narrowly avoided being sucked into the remaining engine.]

[Instead, he slammed into the engine compartment. Recovering quickly, he fired another web and dangled from the back of the plane.]

["Boss, the plane's going down! Get out of there!" Mason warned.]

[But Vulture, consumed by greed, refused to abandon his prize. Seeing the treasures inside, he snarled, "I'm not leaving empty-handed!"]

[He drove his wings deep into the fuselage, tearing open another gaping hole. The plane dipped lower and lower as Spider-Man finally managed to climb back on top.]

["Oh… my… God!" The young hero's stomach lurched as he realized the aircraft was heading straight for the city. His heart pounded in panic.]

[Thinking fast, he spotted the plane's wing and shot his web, pulling with all his might to change its trajectory.]

[Inside, Vulture finally broke through and laid eyes on a massive crate full of Ark Reactors. Mason, seeing that he was still looting, yelled in frustration, "What the hell are you doing?! Get out of there!"]

[Spider-Man gritted his teeth, tugging desperately at the web. "Come on! Turn, turn, turn!"]

[The plane, now critically damaged, lost its stealth capabilities as its systems failed one by one. Spider-Man's effort put too much strain on his web, causing it to snap, sending him tumbling backward.]

[Vulture, still attempting to grab a crate, was caught in the sudden destabilization and was unable to lift it.]

[At Stark Tower, Happy Hogan, casually seated with his legs crossed, noticed a faint glimmer in the distance. He suddenly sat upright, staring at the approaching aircraft.]

[The plane, descending rapidly, clipped a building before crashing onto a beach. The impact sent debris flying, completely obliterating a nearby house.]

[The wreckage skidded across the sand, sparks and flames erupting along its path. Spider-Man and Vulture were both hurled from the impact.]

[As the camera zoomed out, the entire beach was shown, engulfed in fire, smoke, and scattered debris—marking the violent end of their mid-air battle.]
