Selina's call came through, and Old Mr. Brown couldn't say much more.
"Go ahead and answer," he said.
Logan let out a low chuckle and pressed the answer button.
Selina's voice came through. "Logan, where are you?"
Logan glanced at Old Mr. Brown, then said calmly, "The Brown estate is too big. I got lost."
On the other end, Selina seemed speechless for a few seconds. "Want me to send someone to get you?"
Logan chuckled again. "No need. I've found my way. I'll be there soon."
After hanging up, Logan said politely, "Sir, Selina's looking for me. If there's nothing else, I'll take my leave."
Old Mr. Brown grumbled and waved his hand impatiently. "At least you know your place."
Logan raised a brow slightly. "I'm not an idiot."
Old Mr. Brown watched him leave, eyes narrowing.
It wasn't that he had a personal grudge against Logan. He just wanted to uncover the truth.
