I stared at the ceiling of the lavish bedroom, my fingers digging into the silk sheets. Jack's scent still on me.
He'd been right. Cuddling with him naked outside, feets away from his family was exactly what my wolf needed to calm down.
And now, I was in my bedroom and he was out there doing Princely stuff.
The bed was too soft, the air too sweet with the scent of jasmine, and the silence too loud.
I missed Jack... mostly because his presence made missing Ryder slightly bearable.
He made the silence a little bit less deafening. He made breathing easier.
He makes me normal.
After the breakfast today where everyone was loud and chaotic and messy and... lovely...I wanted more of him. I wanted more of his family.
Breakfast with his family was everything I wished my family would be growing up.
It was my fantasy.
