Cherreads

Chapter 16 - Pt.2: 15: Relieving Anger

Upon reading and responding to the message privately sent to her, Skylar's attention quickly diverted into action. She went to their car, and from the hidden compartment of their trunk, there was her old dark hunting suit, which made her look like a live character from the character of the Assassin's Creed game. Instead of guns, she prefers to use a pair of daggers and a long string with the same thickness as a shoelace. When she was perfectly suited up, her ride arrived.

"Are you ready?" Joey, as her Omega, asked with a smug look, making Skylar, as Rose Slayer, shake her head and take the keys.

"Always. I need to get my frustration out of my system." With a grim aura spreading through the night, Rose Slayer responded coldly.

"Problem in paradise?" He quickly guessed.

"Obviously. Watch him for me till I get back." Despite the coldness and pain from a while ago, Rose Slayer still cared for her husband's safety whenever she was not around.

"Noted." He politely responded, and she went on her hunt.

As Skylar turned into her usual Rose Slayer mode and hunted minor prey, she quickly found the coordinates at a certain busy street three stoplights away from the beach resort where they were staying. She parked her motorbike on the side and pretended to check her phone, but she was observing her prey as she locked her eyes on him. Mr. Reyes, the man who finished his late dinner meeting with a group of suited men who she found familiar—they were somebody from her past.

"Hm, interesting…" With a sly smirk beneath her mask, Rose Slayer mumbled about what she saw.

With her usual careful observing stunt, her blacklist became longer and clearer than before. But at the moment, her hunt must stick to the standard; she must hunt one step at a time, and Mr. Reyes is on the list tonight. She put down her phone after a few minutes and passed her prey's car before turning to another street, pretending she had reached her destination, but it was camouflage. Then, a few seconds later, she carefully trailed her prey's car, and at the right distance, she parked herself in the shadow and texted.

Private Test Messages:

Alpha Lar: I saw them with Mr. Reyes. Is this what you were saying to me? Their connections were still intact.

Beta Din: I'm glad you noticed. I don't want to keep your hopes high, but be careful around them since they are deeply connected to the mafia world.

Alpha Lar: Aren't we doing that too? Being dark?

Beta Din: I'm just keeping you at bay, but they were trying to connect with one of the notorious mafias in the city.

Alpha Lar: It won't be happening once I step into the game.

Beta Din: I know you would, but be careful since we're still cleaning the minor prey and gathering the evidence we need.

Alpha Lar: I know, and since I'm hot-blooded for the moment, I'll hang up and finish this night.

Beta Din: Omega notified me about the paradise. I wish you the best of luck.

As soon as she hung up the text messages, she checked the coast, and they were cleared. She moved in stealth mode, and with flexibility and agility, she managed to infiltrate the household without getting caught by Mr. Reyes' guards. She waltzed carefully inside the mansion without being detected, and sometimes she wondered how great she was in her stealth mode against the heavy security she was in. Five guards were at the front yard of the mansion, ten on the left as well as on the right, and at the back were twenty, which in total was forty-five, but something caught her attention.

"Twenty in the backyard? That smells fishy," she thought, but her grin never left her lips beneath her dark mask.

Rose Slayer checked the backyard, but there was nothing until she heard a faint sob somewhere. She carefully checked the area and navigated the perimeter, where she found a certain cell containing minor teenagers barely clothed, covered with bruises, and tied up. And lastly, she heard a painful cry coming from the other side of the cell.

"S-stop it. I—I can't anymore…"

"Well, you've been giving me signals, so bear it."

"Don't do it inside."

"Don't worry, I'll make you mine, and I will tell the boss about it. I'll keep you here. Fuck you senselessly until you beg me for more."

"I'm…long gone…"

"HAHAHAHA!"

"She's beyond help. He already consumed her being." Rose Slayer shook her head as she didn't do anything and left as they enjoyed their heated session. Then she sadly thought. "And it was not my thing anymore. I'm a killer. Not a savior."

***

After her entire navigation had been recorded, Rose Slayer entered the mansion's property undetected, where she learned that her prey was married and had a beautiful family.

"How sad this family will become…what's the right word for it?" With slyness in her tone, she took pity on them, but her devilish grin hadn't left her lips, and she secretly stalked her prey until he was alone in his study room. "Ah, shameful."

Rose Slayer might be in the shadow patiently waiting for her time to kill, and when she was about to, Mr. Reyes' wife entered and gave him his usual tea and medication. She got curious.

"Honey, take time to rest."

"I know. I'll be there in a minute. Go ahead and sleep before me."

"If you say so. Drink your med for your insomnia."

"I will."

"I love you. Good night."

"I love you too."

When the wife left, Rose Slayer moved in the shadow and took the liberty to steal the medicine before sitting on the couch across from his desk, checking it.

"These are strong sleeping pills for insomnia, don't you think, Mr. Reyes?" Rose Slayer amusingly chuckled as she made her presence known to her prey.

"WHAT THE!" Mr. Reyes jumped and quickly asked, "Who are you?! How did you get in here?!"

But Rose Slayer moved like the wind as she vanished instantly from the couch and only found her hand covering his mouth from shouting too much. Due to her sudden appearance, the shelf behind him shook, making some books fall on the floor.

"Sshhh. Your guards were preoccupied with your captive teenagers. I think you're ready to sell them since they became sex slaves already and are beyond saving. Their bodies desire it already despite the bruises you kept giving them." She taunted as she revealed what she saw earlier before showing a white rose in front of his wide eyes.

"Wait, you're…" His eyes were horrified as soon as he saw the white rose—he knew who she was, making her laugh. "…Rose Slayer…"

"Perfect," she whispered, and the man felt free, but with fear evident on his face, his body wouldn't dare to make a move, making her love it more. "Good. That's a good reaction. Now, let's reflect on every pain you have caused them."

"W-what did I d-do? Why?" Mr. Reyes softly wondered, making Rose Slayer crack her fingers while humming amusingly.

"A lot. Remember the general sentence to die in prison for a crime she didn't commit?" With a devilish grin, she hummed her question and grabbed her prepared rope.

"General?" Mr. Reyes said, quivering but a little puzzled.

"Yes, she was the she-alpha general, but she was betrayed by the people around her, which includes you." She responded as she squatted before him and tied his arms and legs to his chair.

"I don't know what you're talking about…" Mr. Reyes tried to save himself, but it was too late because his past crime had begun biting him back.

"Oh, you do. You're working with them. You sent those men to pretend to be innocent and point fingers at her, and for what? Everything you own came from your dirty past." With a lunatic chuckle, she tauntingly reminded the scared man on his seat, and by hearing them, his eyes went wide—he remembered them. She liked that reaction before she whispered. "Don't worry, the general's ghost has sent your deathbed."

Mr. Reyes was hypnotized because fear was eating his being; he barely moved or struggled while being tied to his chair. He knew his crime, and now he saw his death knocking badly in front of him. Rose Slayer harshly grabbed his face and forced him to open his mouth before gagging him with hot tea, causing his throat to burn and making him unable to speak anymore. He might struggle over the pain, but Rose Slayer didn't stop torturing him. She slightly burned his skin with the lighter he had on his desk and pressed the lighted tobacco on his body, creating an art—a set of constellations. He groaned in pain at the bloody art she did on his body, but he grew weak, which satisfied her even more. The silence made her stop with satisfaction before she checked the time on Mr. Reyes's wrist and started giggling.

"This is the last lifeline. Welcome to your deathbed, Mr. Raynaldo Reyes, the puppet." With a sinister chuckle, she leaned in before whispering something that caught his attention greatly. "Be grateful; the general's ghost is collecting your debt."

With his last remaining strength, he cried as he tried to say something, but everything was too late. The debt was already due, and Rose Slayer was collecting it. She used her twin dagger by stabbing his stomach and twisting it harder, making him bleed. He kept groaning in pain until she decided to use his pill and forced him to drink it. It was only a matter of time before Mr. Reyes lost consciousness before wrapping him with the rest of his rope, letting him bleed. She chuckled and decided to play around by pushing his unconscious body around before harshly pushing the chair toward the wall, causing an impact on the unconscious body. But what remarkable happened was the bloody art splattered around the room while his lifeline counted down to its end.

"…and one. Goodbye, Mr. Reyes." She mumbled and let the white rose be tainted with his blood, thinking of a headline. "Mr. Reyes died in his office for some reason that the police haven't made public."

That thought alone made the Rose Slayer waltz undetected again after committing her wonderful bloody crime. She left the mansion like a wind that came and went without leaving any tracks but didn't forget to leave the corpse with a message about the crimes that Mr. Reyes had committed for years.

"Now, it's time for the police to clean this up." With a sly laugh in the shadow, she quickly contacted her men to do their usual routine and involved the police in this matter.

Private Text Message:

Alpha Lar: All done. Make sure to involve the police in this matter. It'll shake that retired high official candidate for mayor.

Beta Din: All done, and head back now.

It was only a matter of time before the police sirens blasted as they arrived at the mansion while Rose Slayer watched in the shadow amusingly. They had their warrant, but she surely ended his life, and nothing was left but his crime and not hers. As the hunt went smoothly once again, Rose Slayer drove around the small town, calming herself from the adrenaline of her kill before heading back to her dual life, a wife where Vincencio had no clue about her dark side.

"That's a nice ride," Skylar mumbled as she changed her clothing to what she wore a few minutes ago.

"And record-breaking," Joey amusingly added before he softly whispered another update she needed to hear as soon as she finished changing. "Vincencio went for a walk just a few minutes before you arrived."

"I see. Thanks, Joey." She sadly smiled before she started walking back to the resort.

"Anytime." He bowed as he drove away like he had never been around.
