Olivia nodded with a gentle smile. "She looked really pale. Please go ahead."
Eleanor's eyes flew open just a tiny bit.
No, no, no, no! Not a shot!
She shifted slightly on the bed like she was just waking up.
"…Ugh…" she groaned, pretending to be confused. "W-Where… am I?"
"You're in the infirmary," Olivia said sweetly. "Don't worry, you're safe now. But you fainted in the middle of class, so the nurse is going to give you something to help."
Eleanor sat up a little too quickly and waved her hands, looking super panicked.
"W-Wait! I'm okay now!" she said, her voice still weak but rushed. "Really! I feel way better!"
The nurse raised an eyebrow. "You passed out cold. You still look pale. A quick injection will help."
Eleanor gave a shaky laugh and gripped the blanket. "I'm really scared of needles. L-Like… really scared. I think I'll be fine if I just rest a little!"
But Olivia tilted her head, still smiling kindly.
