"Go take a look." After saying that, Lu Dapao hurriedly led a group of people towards the doorway of that room.
Thud thud...
A series of knocks on the door, but alas, there was no response whatsoever from inside. This continued for several minutes.
"Could it be that he's not at home?" Lu Dapao muttered to himself.
Zhou Kai felt that something was off, he quickly turned on the flashlight in his hand, and swept it across the floor. There was nothing suspicious on the ground. However, when Zhou Kai shone the flashlight at the base of the wall, he immediately realized something was wrong.
"What's this?" A lackey curiously pointed at a blotch on the corner of the wall.
Zhou Kai squatted down, touched the black blotch with his hand, then sniffed it near his nose: "It's blood, doesn't seem too old."
"Could it be... that guy was harmed?" Lu Dapao exclaimed in shock.
"Break down the door." Zhou Kai's mind was once again overwhelmed by a sinister premonition.
