Luther was in silence. He couldn't trust Mallory even a bit but the threat to her family had seemingly frightened her. She dared not lie about this.
He signaled to Orson. Orson bowed and nodded to two guards.
"Take both the second mistress and her maid to the dungeon. Keep them at different cells and await further instructions."
The guards bowed and left with Mallory and Olga to the dungeon.
Orson turned to Luther. Luther had turned quiet, he was in thoughts.
Orson could tell what he was thinking and was much tensed by it.
"Your highness." He glanced at him. "Are you thinking of the blood transfer?"
Luther didn't need to answer. The question was unnecessary since both of them knew the answer anyway.
"Your highness...."
"Call in physician Alberto."
Orson sighed. He knew it would come to this.
Luther was much impassive but he could tell he yet had a lil care for Almira. Every bit of his worries confirms it.
