RADIO: A World Beyond Eyes

Moist vapors formed a thin layer on everyone's face. The sun and moon were changing shifts, and he came.

Kerrack!

Thunderbolts of different colors raged throughout the forest, marking the trunks, eradicating the minor plants.

Clouds growled, and a bright purple-red lightning bolt struck the ground, forming a minor crater.

The sheer strength sent chills through everyone.

Guffu's sacrifice won't be in mud.

Zarita felt her oxygen intake was getting difficult—it was like someone was choking her. She looked at her companions; this feeling wasn't alien to them either.

Ripple of space-time and indefinitely burning core. Undescribable horror manifested.

The electric bolts around the an0m4ly were behaving like tentacles, smashing into the ground and burning the trees.

The system was intact with everyone, thanks to Scyures's Glitch World ability saving everyone's system from the an0m4ly—but this wasn't the only problem.

They couldn't look directly at him due to the infrared and ultraviolet flashes his body was emitting.

If it were to be estimated, there were 7 flashes per second.

Enough to blind a normal living being. It wasn't the same as any night they had encountered before. It kept growing more unpredictable and weirder.

Maybe it's adapting or just unfolding.

But now...

The plan had to be executed. A beam of light piercing the woods stopped in front of the an0m4ly and curved around his ripples.

Dead... saw—Erika...

Erika was on her knees, burning from smoke. But the anomaly still hadn't looked at her. And the moment it was about to match her direction, it vanished.

Now, standing right behind Erika, the anomaly started to disintegrate her magical barrier.

If it wanted, it could've killed her with just a glance—but it didn't. Because it knew, if it tortured her enough, someone would show up.

And it was right.

The anomaly saw Lanmyth...

He was sitting on a rock, posing like he didn't care. His hands stretched on his knees and one leg down on the ground.

It was dangerous.

A slow lightning bolt, like a slithering snake, flew toward Lanmyth at a rather visible speed. What did the anomaly want? None could decipher.

Yet, one thing was sure...

A smile appeared on Lanmyth's face.

The reason they kept forgetting Anomaly's exact appearance and actions was because it was something incomprehensible.

Yet, Zarita, Myale, Scyures, and Lanmyth retained its image more clearly than anyone had ever retained, due to the system's protection.

Lanmyth understood that the reason they couldn't retain the Anomaly's presence was because

it was projecting itself through another dimension, like from a different radio channel.

It could move faster than light because it wasn't interacting with the Higgs boson field. And using the energy of leaked space-time ruptures, it created a way to project itself in this dimension.

So in conclusion, it is neither dead nor alive.

Life and death, two counterparts that coexist to create a cycle of living.

Just then, the slithering shockwave disintegrated.

"Gotcha!" A ring of thunder chain covered the circumference of the area The Anomaly and Lanmyth were inside.

Krrr.....

And in order to bring the Anomaly into this dimension, he had to tune everything to a single channel.

The nanobots in the circumference started to emit a controlled electromagnetic pulse.

From 1 THz to 1000 THz, they scanned it all.

Their frequencies and electromagnetic waves formed a bubble dome around them, altering the whole space-time around them into something beyond.

The nanobots boosted Lanmyth and his squad's cone receptors' sensitivity to 600%.

Every infrared, ultraviolet, and frequency from 200 nm to 1200 nm compressed into 400–700 nm, allowing them all to perceive a world beyond human comprehension.

The magnetic field shifting the alteration compressed all the fields near enough to create a temporarily stable collapse effect, causing every existence to leave shadows.

The electric shocks of the Anomaly were suppressed—so was its obscurity. The rippling gravitational effect was temporarily shut down.

The nanobots kept adjusting the field 60 times per second to keep the field stable.

The Anomaly was starting to come into light—but that wasn't the only thing.

Being able to see everything... Everything. A former scientist's dream.

Lanmyth could see everything a human couldn't: the slithering patterns on the human body, the violet and red stripes on animals and trees, the bright turquoise non-existent color, the reddish-purple blood cells flowing through the body.

The aura of a human being. He could see it all.

Grass with bright cyan patterns could be seen—which was a research beyond ages.

Still sitting on the rock, admiring the atmosphere, Lanmyth cracked a knuckle.

Life and death—if the Anomaly isn't bound by these two, then it has to be bound by both at the same time.

A giant rose of bones with overflowing scarlet fumes and patterns and a green tip rose. Bone whips made from the undead spines of hell tied around the bottom of the Anomaly, causing it to move uncontrollably until...

A golden aura-glowing heavenly axe hovered above the Anomaly and stuck there, binding the Anomaly in the whips of life.

The circulation of life force forcefully pulled the Anomaly into the realm of the living.

Final step.

Grrr....

Two swords flying over the ground, covered in dark metal. The Sword of King and the Sword's Sword from the West and East.

Dug from both sides of the Anomaly, the pure metal of the swords materialized the Anomaly's flesh into the realm.

Scyures's sword control was the most effective they could use—but he had done more than just that.

Scyures's skin, printed with unknown colours and patterns glowing in the aura of bio-light, was glitching with red and blue light. He teleported in front of the Anomaly.

Grrkrrgrrkrrr....!

The Anomaly couldn't move, but its abnormal need to move could be felt from just the sight.

"This is wicked!" Zarita exclaimed.

"Just hold onto it!" Myale, facing the earth, pushing the heavenly axe to keep the Anomaly from moving.

The whole air was cracking like a broken radio signal.

The whip of hell formed a ring around the anomaly as the three weapons: two royal swords and one holy axe, adjusted themselves as hands of a clock.

The perfect ring to keep the anomaly in this physical realm.

Now the rest was on Scyures.

"Give it your all!" Zarita cried out loud as Scyures dab-kicked the anomaly manifested as the tall businessman without a face.

His body still shifting in red and purple, but more faded.

The anomaly blasted backward, destroying the trees in its range. The clock started moving fast and dragged it backward towards the centre where it was trapped.

This retro feeling was diving deep in the sweat beads falling off Scyures's head.

He knew it wasn't his friend, but still something similar. And the only person who could defeat this boss was the hero.

Scyures thought,

He saw hundreds of heroes, but one forgotten hero had stuck in his mind—the hero who obliterated corruption with just a sword and four spells. A hero who rose above himself to save the world.

The hero of Florenum,

Lend me your strength. He extended his arm out behind while facing the trapped anomaly. The air crackled freshly like a broken radio with no FM channel.

An outline of a bright blue sword started to manifest in the eyes of everyone. Scyures tightened his grip on the handle.

The sword that could cut the magic, corruption beyond dimensions. The Mage Blade.

A large blade split in front with a wide curve and sharp edges.

Scyures held it high and let his full energy flow into it.

His memories flashed like flashbangs.

With his friend, game, parents, food.

Swooooooosh!!!

The core was cut in two equal parts and...
