As a group of the largest military force in New America came together, many wondered what the purpose of an army this big was for.
As reporters and people bustled and questioned, many generals tried to quell their rage.
A general, who had a scar on his face, which was still very grotesque and not completely healed, took the stand.
"I am General Kreig. Today, we stand to win everything!"
As he continued his speech, the hearts of the army pounded as one.
"We are headed into the War Torn Nation. We've learned of the barrier that has closed in on it recently, and we wish to locate one boy, and eliminate him
Many of us will die! Many will cower in fear! And many more will sacrifice themselves for the greater good! But in the end, our main goal is to quell the nation's rage and end this for good."
He continued speaking, only getting more impassioned by his speech, and with the entire world's hearts beating as one, every last soldier charged into the barrier, finally entering the War Torn Nation!
"We're coming for him! THE ADRENALINE JUNKIE!!!"
-Meanwhile-
The Dimension God looked up, contemplating what just happened.
"Huh." She said, trying to process everything.
She looked upwards, to see a very feral woman, with messed up hair & bloodshot eyes. It was the energy psycho!
"How the fuck did she get here? Jamal! Didn't I tell you to get the weapons ready?" The Dimension God said to her servant.
"For the last time, my name is not Jamal. You think that just because im black, you can-" Suddenly, the Energy Psycho completely ripped Jamal in half, ending his life in an instant.
The Dimension God screamed in anger. "No! You fuck! You killed Jamal! It was his special day, he was gonna graduate from high school!" Clearly, she wasn't taking this situation seriously, because Jamal was a 50 year old man who never went to high school.
The Energy Psycho picked up on her heavy sarcasm, and scoffed. "You think you're fucking funny? You got too close to my secrets. Now, you know my secret, how I control my energy. Should've killed you when I had the chance."
The Dimension God calmly sat back down in her original seat, and sipped a glass of wine. "Sorry, im a little drunk right now." She said, with a giggly face. "The truth is, physically, you can kill me a hundred times over without breaking a sweat. But, would you really want to risk your secret getting out?
The energy psycho, enraged, calmed down for the first time she'd opened her eyes.
"Okay, Dimension God, explain." The Energy Psycho said. "Explain what you know."
The Dimension God got up, and slowly drank some more wine, before saying, "Well, at first I was confused about the barrier. Why did it exist? Why was it closing in on our nation...
And then I realized. You! It was all you!"
She continued speaking, very proud of herself that she figured it out.
"I hired a group of rogue guerilla's from the other section of the war torn nation to spy on you. The Guerilla King didn't even notice that they were no longer with him. They told me everything. The red thread of fate. Those who can see it, can escape the War Torn Country on their own, and much like a virus, a disease, it spreads. Once you know it exists, you get a higher chance of being able to see it."
The Dimension God slowly walked around, to the other side of the room, before finishing her speech.
"Fate. Everyone is a slave to fate. Every action is pre-determined, and nobody has free will. Except... for those who can see the red thread of fate. Those people are able to transcend their destiny, and defy fate. But you... you've taken it a level beyond. You're not a Chaotic Demon. You have no power. Instead, you can not only see the red thread of fate, but you can control it. You can absorb it into your body, as a sort of energy. I still don't know how its possible, but its not a superpower that's exclusive to you. Vampire was also able to use it. You're just much, much more capable at doing it. This means, that anyone is capable of doing what you do!"
The Energy Psycho, from the start, had feared the Dimension God! She truly feared this woman. A far more dangerous person than she thought. The Dimension God was just a normal person who had powers that were not even geared towards combat.
Despite that, the normally unafraid, always ready to fight woman, shrunk into herself, realizing just how fucked she was.
The Energy Psycho had lost! Before even starting the fight! The Dimension God planned it all.
The Dimension God continued speaking. "Those who can see the red thread of fate can escape the barrier, but there are 3 conditions."
"The first one, obviously, is that they have to be able to see the red thread of fate. I can't see it, so I can't leave this shithole. The second, is that they can't be a Chaotic Demon or a Celestial angel. They can be fake ones, like those Guerilla's, but they can't be real ones. The final condition, is that they have to be people like you, and those Guerilla's I found...
They must be transmigrators from another world!"
At this moment, the Energy Psycho felt as if she'd made a grave mistake coming her to kill this woman. She knew... she knew thatthe Energy Psycho had come from another world! But how? How did she know?
"You're probably wondering how I knew? The Dimension God snorted, clearly reading the Energy Psychos mind.
"It's simple," the dimension god said. "It's because I am one, a transmigrator from another world. And you are, too."
"It's funny, because if you don't meet the first 2 categories, you can actually escape the barrier anyway. But in order to do that, with only 1 condition complete, you must complete the impossible. You must destroy the red thread of fate! You must eliminate fate entirely!!" She threw open her arms, shouting in happiness!!
The Energy Psycho charged towards her, but a giant array of massive superweapons charged across the war torn nation! Mass amounts of giant missiles rushed through the entire nation!
They all hit the Energy Psycho at the same time, completely pushing her back.
Hit by a giant barrage of artillary & missiles, cannons, and other weapons, she could only reel back in pain, before coming to an instant pause.
The Dimension God laughed, with a hearty laugh, smiling in a giant blaze of glory and excitement. "I wouldn't do that if I were you! If I die, than i'll spread this information throughout the world. The Guerillas I hired killed your friend, that skinny weirdo. And they also have outside connections!"
This was a bluff. The Dimension God told them no such thing. Neither the Dimension God nor the Energy Psycho wanted this information to get out.
The Energy Psycho was afraid that someone could gain the exact same power as her, and it would lead to her being weaker than that hypothetical person. It was a similar situation with the Dimension God. The Dimension God didn't want anyone else to gain that terrifying power to control energy.
The Energy Psycho, however, couldn't take the risk. She had to let the Dimension God live!
"So, what if everyone who could see the red thread of fate could use this power? Would you be less special? Would they start calling ANOTHER Energy Psycho. You'd certainly be a psycho, but if everyone that can see the red thread of fate can use it, you'd definitely not have 'energy' in your name. Ha! You'd just be called 'The Psycho'!" The Dimension God said, mocking her, knowing that the Energy Psycho could do nothing to stop her.
"So, now that we've established how my dick slides directly down you throat at any given moment, let's have a chat, shall we." The Dimension God said.
The Energy Psycho sat down, desperate, and no longer could even retort to the insult she was just given. "Sure." was all she said.
The Dimension God's demeanor suddenly got a lot more serious. It was a bit jarring.
"So, you know how the War Torn Nation has 4 Gods. The dead vampire, you, me, and that weirdo that likes to shoot cannons at outsiders. Well, there's a rumor that a fifth God of the War Torn Nation will rise. One who will free the chaotic War Torn Nation, and will be celebrated by the people as a savior. One who will end all wars in this nation, and will go on to be well respected as the savior of the world..."
The Dimension God paused, and started speaking again. "Wait, let me start from the beginning. First of all, you know how we recently had a barrier enclose the War Torn Nation. I have reasons to believe that the barrier was already there from the beginning. The difference is that, before, people could walk through the invisible barrier. But recently, the effects of the barrier have been activated. It was there for over a thousand years, its only recently that the conditions have been met to force the barrier to prevent people from leaving. Now, I have reason to believe that this barrier was created by a God. A god who wants to trap all of the Chaotic Demons in one place so that they can revive. You see, in my original dimension, that's exactly what happened before. The Freedom Junkie, or as you know him, the Adrenaline Junkie, was the catalyst for this. He was the first Chaotic Demon to die, and be taken over by a God. What i'm saying is, I think that thousands of years ago, Libertas, a God of Liberty and Freedom, created this barrier, to force the perfect situation to revive using the Adrenaline Junkie's body as a vessel. In fact, every one us are in danger. Because its not only him. Every single Chaotic Demon and Celestial Angel are vessels created by the Gods. None of them remember how they got to this world, they just appeared here one day. That's because they forgot. They forgot everything. They forgot how they got here. They remember their past lives, but not how they got to this world, isn't that strange? Some of us don't even remember our past lives at all. In fact, your freaky friend, the one with the red lightning, he is a vessel for Indra, another God. When I found out about him, I was especially terrified, because I wrongly assumed he was the vessel for an even worse God: Zeus. A terrifying individual that struck fear into my heart when I met him."
The Energy Psycho looked shocked. How did she know all of this? It seemed impossible. But she didn't dare to ask. Quite frankly, she didn't even care.
The Dimension God sat down, and continued to speak, but this time, it was a completely different subject.
"You know, the world is fearful of the citizens of this nation. They think we're dangerous. But I disagree. The true danger... it isn't us. It's them. The invaders. The Chaotic Demons that are entering this nation. Trust me. THEY are the real monsters.
As she said that, memories came shooting out from her past, ones she desperately tried to supress. It was because of the Chaotic Demons, that she lost her little sister.
"We're incredibly different. I'm a hero. You're a villain. But in order to save as many lives as possible, i'm willing to team up with you to save as many lives as possible."
The Energy Psycho looked at the Dimension God for a second, before spitting out a stern exclamation.
"Fuck you."
She had denied her proposal, and shot off back to her castle of bones.
-Meanwhile, where the Adrenaline Junkie is-
"Woohoo!!" I shouted as I ripped through the sky, riding S on her back. She was in the form of some strange kind of winged beast. It looked gross, but I didn't mind.
"Ooh! Another one!" I screamed, pointing at another person running from the 2 of us. Meanwhile, the Cold Hearted was following behind us, gliding on ice & struggling to keep up. As I shot through the sky, pointing out people to kill, I teleported right into some guy, ripping his arm off.
"Wow! This fuckass thought he could beat people with superpowers by using a knife!" I screamed, laughing. Along the road to find the Energy Psycho, we got bored & started a game to pass the time. Whoever killed the most people got the most points. Because the Cold Hearted complained too much, we chose not to include women & children in the game. I decided to agree as well. Her rants would have certainly gotten annoying if we just ignored her, and it would've ruined the game.
We still couldn't find any leads on the energy psycho, and we didn't know what to do to find her, so we've just been travelling across the war torn nation. Along the way, we learned that there are 3 different sections of the war torn nation, one was ruled by the Guerillas, which was the one I mysteriously teleported into when I first got here. Another, the section im currently in, is ruled by a God of the War Torn Nation, the Dimension God. Apparrently, she's just as crazy as the Energy Psycho. Although, her area seems to have many normal citizens, unlike the area of the Guerilla's, which is constantly surrounded by death & war. This area, in contrast, is kinda peaceful, and there's very little death.
The final area is ruled by the Energy Psycho, and I have no idea what that place is like. The only thing I know is that we have to go there in order to kill her. Unlike the 2 travelling with me, my objective isn't to kill her, but rather, to escape the War Torn Nation. The only way to do that is to question the Energy Psycho, since she appeared in New America, somehow escaping the invisible barrier that locks us in.
As I saw a man cowering behind a building, I instantly teleported inside him, killing him dead! "That's a point for me! I'm at 80 points!! How many are you at!?" I screamed over to the Shapeshifter, who was having just as much fun as I was.
"Ha! You suck! I already have 120 points!" She screamed, full volume.
"What!? You're lying!!" I shouted, certain. The Cold Hearted, however, confirmed that she was telling the truth
"I saw her. She definitely killed more... wait? What were we doing again?" She asked, genuinely confused.
She forgot again, didn't she? I was starting to get sick of reminding her of stuff all the time. Her memory loss was no joke. She forgot our names at least 3 separate times on the way here, but a small reminder would definitely spark her memory back. Usually, that's all it would take.
The Shapeshifter shot down, laughing. "I won!!"
Annoyed, I turned to her & started screaming. "That's no fair. You have no life! All you do is kill people all day! I bet you spend 90% of your day just fucking around and eating people, which is gross by the way! It's gross!"
The shapeshifter angrily retorted back. "You have no right to chastise me on who I kill and who I don't! You remember our fight in New America?"
Laughing, I quickly responded. "Of course I do, I kicked your ass!"
Then, it dawned on me what she was implying. I killed way more people than her back there in New America.
I was kind of upset about that, too. I honestly didn't expect to kill so many people, but more importantly, I never got to see the giant waterfall of New America.
In New America, there's a giant waterfall that spreads across half the country. I was there for a bit, but I never got to see it. The legends say that anyone who sees the waterfall is blessed with good luck for a thousand years. It was a very beautiful sight, but unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to see it.
Ignoring that, I spoke back. "Yeah, I might be a bit of a megalomaniac, but there are still things that even I think is crass. Cannibalism is one of those things. It's not the worst, but its definitely something I probably wouldn't do unless forced to."
The cold hearted piped up in curiosity. "So you do have a conscience, huh? Im curious. What are the other things you find morally wrong?"
She was amused, clearly because she assumed that I felt no empathy whatsoever.
I decided to entertain her question, with a short response.
"Well, I might brutally murder someone, but I'd never rape or molest anyone. To me, that's barbaric and cruel. I'd definitely hate myself forever if I did something like that. But besides those things, i'm pretty much willing to do anything if it entertains me enough."
As I said that, a couple, who were cowering from the corner slowly came out.
"Please, don't hurt us." The man said, protecting the woman that was right in front of him.
It seems like they assumed I was a good person. I see, they heard the conversation, and decided to risk it, thinking that we were people who could be reasoned with.
"Sure. You can go." The Cold Hearted said, definitely attempting to shoo them away, but that only peaked my interest.
"Hey..." I said. "Wait up a bit."
The Cold Hearted buried her face in her palm, very upset.
"Are you two dating?" I asked, trying to put up the most innocent face possible, but unfortunately, I couldn't quite hold in my laughter, and giggled a tiny bit.
"Yes! We're married!" The wife said with excitement. The guy, on the other hand, immediately realized that something about my demeanor was gravely worrying.
"Honey... stop!" He slowly tried to whisper in her ear. I quickly shut it down, as soon as I could.
"Shut the fuck up, you inbred fuck!" I shouted in my most authoritative tone, but my voice didn't come out quite right. Having the body of a 12 year old doesn't make you very intimidating, and I was definitely prone to voice cracks at this time.
Suddenly, my face twisted into a horrid, uneasy smile. Grinning ear to ear, my eyes shining with a terrifying light. The Cold Hearted quickly reeled, clearly understanding that something was not right.
"Do you truly love her?" I asked.
This time, the 2 were stunned silent. They were scared to talk, to move. Scared to do anything. They didn't want to incur my wrath.
Unfortunately, the woman made a big mistake. If they both just shut the fuck up and listened, I wouldn't have hurt them, but the bitch kept talking, and talking, profusely apologizing and crying about shit I didn't care about.
As she started pleading and begging, tears streaming down her face, I gave an increasingly calm look, and simply told her.
"Shut. your. fucking. mouth."
She instantly grew silent, when the Cold Hearted tried to appeal to my sense of empathy. "C'mon, they're assholes, I know. They're not worth your time. Let's go, Jesse."
I turned to her, and stared with an erratic smile. "Don't say my fucking name. Call me the Adrenaline Junkie only, or I'll fucking kill these 2 slow fucks right now."
She quickly shut up, realizing that I wasn't going to listen. I knew she wasn't going to stop me. She might be a villain with a heart of gold, but at the end of the day, she was still a villain. She's killed her fair share of people, without regret or remorse. It's only when women or children get involved that she feels like she has something to say.
"Look at you two!" I smiled, "You both truly love each other, huh? I wish you guys a happy anniversary, whenever the fuck that stupid day is!" I said, feigning a happy smile.
In my head, I could only think to myself.
'I really am happy for these two. True love is hard to come by. But do they really love each other. I'm curious. I really want to test it.'
I began to speak, my retched smile growing even bigger. Fear coursed through their eyes.
At that time, I bet they weren't expecting what came next.
I stared at the man, his eyes growing wide with fear.
"Kill her."
"WHAT!?" The Cold Hearted shouted from a distance.
"You heard me. If you don't brutally murder her right now, i'll kill you both. Don't worry, if you're afraid to do it, then i'll do it for you. It's not my first time, after all." I said, as politely as possible.
They didn't move.
"Fine. I guess you need more incentive. If you kill her, I'll let you live. I won't hurt you a bit. If you don't, i'll let her live. How about it?"
In truth, I had to be sure if they truly loved each other. I was genuinely curious.
The Shapeshifter looked over, interested in the situation, but just seeing how it played out. She was intrigued by what I was trying to do.
The man turned to me, and interjected. "Wait a minute! What if we could compromi-"
Instantly, I teleported through both of their bodies, shredding them apart.
"Too late. I got bored. Hey, wanna do something else?" I said, having fun just playing around.
Those 2 were fun playmates, but now that I got bored, there wasn't anything to do. The 3 of us continued onwards, with the Cold Hearted having forgotten everything about this small hiccup in our journey.
-Meanwhile, Back at the castle of bones-
Road watched in the background, looking at the energy psycho working on her masterpiece. He knew that it was a machine made for the sole purpose of having the Energy Psycho control Fate in its entirety. If she were to finish the machine, she'd be able to hold everyone's fates in her hands, and hers alone. She'd be a god, capable of controlling everything in the world. She'd be unstoppable. Road thought to himself. He knew that he couldn't allow this to happen. He had to formulate a plan to kill the Energy Psycho!
As the energy psycho continued tinkering on the machine, pulses began to ring throughout the war torn nation. Citizens from every place were slowly realizing it. The barrier was becoming visible! It shined of crimson red, and not a single person who lived in the War-Torn Nation could ignore it anymore. Every time the Energy Psycho improved this machine, the barrier would grow redder, and it would close in on itself, making the war torn nation smaller & smaller.
It was almost time! It was almost time for her to finalize her plan! Soon, very soon, the barrier would collapse in on itself entirely, and the war torn nation would simply be the size of 10 football fields. Around 3000 feet, or 1200 yards around. It would be an incredibly small place to house millions of citizens.
The Energy Psycho smiled, finally ready to complete her masterpiece. As the strange machine whirred & beeped, another supermassive shockwave rippled across the entire nation, and the bright red, glowing barrier closed in once again. It could no longer be considered a nation, but rather, a small island, at this point.
The Energy Psycho laughed, she laughed a brilliantly evil laugh.
"It's finally time! Here we go!"
