Episode 1: Julia Interviews... Lana Kensington?!
JULIA'S POV
Camera zooms in on the stage. Lights flare. A stylish set with a glowing red and black backdrop.
Julia enters and waves at the audience.
Julia:
Hey everyone, welcome to the very first episode of In the Shadow of truth: The Character Interviews!
Now, you may ask… "Julia, why are you doing this?"
Honestly? I don't know. Ask our chaotic writer Yara_Moon. She likes spicy drama and apparently so do you!
(She laughs, audience chuckles)
Each episode, we'll bring in a character — someone you know... or someone you think you know.
We'll try not to spoil anything important (emphasis on try) so don't worry too much.
Now... drumroll please...
Today's guest is none other than… Lana Kensington.
Yes. That Lana.
The audience gasps. Julia smirks.
Julia:
Yup. You heard it right. The slap-queen herself. Welcome, Lana.
Lana walks in wearing a sleek black dress and gold necklace. Some scattered applause. She sits, offering a tight smile.
THE INTERVIEW BEGINS
Julia:
Thanks for coming, Lana. I know it must've been hard, considering... well, you're not exactly living in your apartment anymore. But let's not spoil where you are now. At least they gave you permission to show up.
Lana (coldly):
Not really feeling better, but I'm trying to understand what happened.
Julia (smiling tightly):
Well… let's start with something spicy .
Q1: You slapped me in public, live on TV. Let's start there. Why?
Lana:
Honestly? If I had known it was a trap, I wouldn't have slapped you.
Julia (raising an eyebrow):
So if it wasn't a trap, you would've?
Lana (shrugging):
Yes. Of course.
Audience gasps.
Julia (laughing sarcastically):
Wow. Perfect opening.
Q2: You've had fame, fans, luxury... so why were you so threatened by me?
Lana:
Because you were the perfect daughter. And I hated that.
Julia:
So… jealousy?
Lana (snapping):
Not jealousy. Hate.
Julia (rolls eyes):
Okay.
Q3: You used to love Jason. Do you still?
Lana (long pause):
Yes. I still love him. I always will.
Julia:
But he's got a girlfriend now, no?
Lana:
Yeah. I know. But feelings don't switch off.
Julia:
Yikes.
Q4: Do you have any idea who Scarlett really is?
Lana:
No. That ugly panda could be anywhere.
My original plan was to trap you and catch her. But that slut trapped me first.
Julia (sharp):
No name-calling. We keep it classy here, Lana. Let's not lower the bar.
Lana (stands up, angry):
You think I'm low?
Julia:
I think someone's watching you. Sit down.
Lana glares, then slowly sits.
Julia:
Q5: What does your father say now… after everything?
Lana (eyes tearing up):
My biggest regret... I should've been a good daughter. I was a nightmare.
Julia (softly):
Take a sip. Let's breathe for a minute.
(Lana drinks water. Silence fills the set.)
Julia:
Q6: Let's talk high school. The bullying. Scarlett. Do you think she deserved it?
Lana:
Yes. Look what she's doing to us now.
Julia:
She's doing this because you destroyed her first.
Lana stays silent.
Julia:
Q7: You once called yourself a queen. Still feel royal?
Lana (placing an imaginary crown):
Always a queen.
Julia:
More like the Queen of Flops.
Lana glares, fists clenched — but stays silent.
Julia:
Q8: Is your song "Bluebell"... about Jason?
Lana (nods):
Yes. It is.
Julia:
Well, now we know who the obsessed one is.
Julia:
Q9: Do you regret anything? Or just sad you got caught?
Lana:
Sad I got caught. For sure.
Audience gasps again.
Julia:
Before the Last question.
Q10: If you could say one sentence to Scarlett right now… what would it be?
Lana (devilish smile):
Even if I don't find you and bring you down… Sharon will.
Julia + audience: 😳
Julia :
Finaly last question we will see lana return on a future chaptre ?
Lana smile : yes you will
ENDING
Julia (straightens up):
Well. That was Lana Kensington.
