"Vivian Bruce. Four years in the sketching and designing department," Zara read out, fidgeting with her pen as her gaze stayed on the file in her hand.
Meanwhile, Ella and Ezra were bouncing around the office, giggling and turning Nadia's desk upside down since she hadn't arrived yet.
"That means you might be fit to become my assistant," Zara said, finally looking up at Vivian.
Zara already forgave Vivian for her remark when she first joined the company. And she had also kept an eye on her progress and hence the reason she chose her without hesitation.
Vivian's eyes widened, excitement lighting up her face. "Yes, of course! I mean, I'll do my best. I promise."
"Becoming my assistant long-term depends on how you perform on this project. So don't get too excited yet," Zara warned, her voice flat.
Vivian quickly nodded. "I understand, ma'am."
Zara shifted her focus again. "Ezra, get off that table!" she snapped, watching him until he jumped down, then turned back to Vivian.
