In winter, it gets dark earlier.
Shi Qing packed up her books, thinking about going to her part-time job. She looked at An Yin's bed and finally asked, "An Yin, do you need me to call in sick for you today?"
"Okay." An Yin's weak voice came from the covers.
With her affirmative response, Shi Qing turned to leave. She checked her phone; Jiang Keke had been gone for over an hour. Logically, the pharmacy from here to the school wasn't far—could it be that Jiang Keke went the long way to somewhere off campus?
That doesn't make sense. Even if she went off campus to buy it, she should've been back by now.
Shi Qing sighed helplessly, looking at the medicine on the desk. She held it in her palm and walked over to An Yin's bedside.
"An Yin, I'll leave the medicine here." Shi Qing placed the box of medicine beside An Yin's pillow, then grabbed the water cup from An Yin's desk and carefully placed it next to the medicine box, "I'm leaving now."
With that, she stepped out.
