Chapter 147 - Chapter 147

The excited Third Star Kage wanted to continue showing his courtesy, but he was outright ignored by Uchiha Shin.

This place was nothing but a rundown wasteland, with neither food nor shelter worth mentioning. The only real prize here was Rika—easily the highest-quality girl in the whole village.

As for the rest? Uchiha Shin wouldn't say he looked down on them, but he wasn't exactly in the mood to sample them all. He had his fill for now. Rika was still resting, and he believed in giving her a little respect.

As for the other women who were passable? Well, he could take them back to Konoha Castle to serve as maids. Of course, they would need to be assessed properly—both in skills and in looks.

Without wasting any more time, Uchiha Shin returned to the villa he had constructed using Wood Release. He was ready to wake Rika up for another round of indulgence before heading back.

Yet, as he was about to spend a few more lazy days in pleasure, something caught his attention.

"Yahiko's position… he's approaching my Konoha Castle?"

Uchiha Shin had been keeping tabs on Yahiko for a while now, mainly because he had set his sights on Nagato's Rinnegan. The fact that Yahiko's group was moving closer to his territory was both unexpected and intriguing.

It seemed that his relaxing days were about to come to an end.

"Rika, it's time for us to leave."

Smack!

A sharp slap landed on her soft skin, making the still-drowsy Rika twist her body seductively, her half-lidded eyes brimming with exhaustion and allure.

"Master Shin~ I can't move…" she whined pitifully.

"You greedy little kitten. Fine, I'll help you."

Seeing her helplessly adorable state, Uchiha Shin let out a sigh before helping her to her feet. He took his time dressing her up, not caring about the slightly disheveled results. Messy or not, she still looked stunning.

Without any further delay, he activated the Flying Thunder God Technique, locking onto his designated target—Tsunade.

The next moment, he and Rika appeared in Tsunade's office.

Tsunade barely batted an eye at his sudden arrival. She had long grown accustomed to his unpredictable movements. Her gaze flickered to Rika, then back to Uchiha Shin, before she took a deep breath, steadying herself.

She had already expected this outcome. She knew the moment he left for a few days, he would come back with some new 'wild game' in tow. At least this time, she had mentally prepared herself.

Meanwhile, Rika took a cautious step forward, her eyes filled with admiration and curiosity.

"You must be Lady Tsunade," she said, bowing deeply. "I am Natsuki Rika, a Jonin from Star Village. I come as a representative of my village to join the Land of Fire. Please allow me to serve you."

Her words were polite, her posture humble.

Tsunade smirked. At the very least, this girl knew how to carry herself with some dignity. She wasn't nearly as troublesome as the likes of Kanako or Mikoto.

"Well, welcome to the Land of Fire, Rika."

There was a subtle double meaning in her words, but Rika was too nervous to catch on. She simply nodded, hands clenched together.

Tsunade's gaze then shifted to Uchiha Shin. She propped up her chin with her slender fingers, her amber eyes gleaming mischievously.

"So, our busy man is back. And after just two days, you already found yourself a new little wife? You must've been in quite the hurry."

Rika's face turned red, and she immediately looked down, too embarrassed to say anything.

Uchiha Shin, however, merely sighed. He knew Tsunade too well—her teasing was just another way of keeping her pride intact in this bizarre relationship of theirs. He merely returned her look with a helpless smile.

Stepping forward, he leaned casually against her desk, his eyes scanning the documents sprawled across its surface. His fingers lightly tapped the wooden surface as he spoke.

"The Land of Wind made a move. It looks like they're taking the initiative."

Tsunade's teasing expression faded in an instant, replaced with one of pure focus. She already had a hunch about this, but hearing it confirmed made things even more real.

Her eyes flickered to Rika momentarily before she pressed a small button on her desk.

Ding!

A soft chime rang out before the door opened, revealing a woman in an O1 uniform. She had a sharp, yet elegant beauty, with long dark hair and eyes that sparkled the moment she saw Uchiha Shin.

"Tsunade-sama… Shin-kun?" Mikoto's voice carried a hint of surprise and excitement. Though it had only been two days, she had missed him terribly.

"Hey, Mikoto."

Uchiha Shin gave her a wink, making the Uchiha woman's face heat up slightly. Rika, on the other hand, curiously observed Mikoto, assessing her silently.

Tsunade didn't give them a chance to start flirting. She immediately issued an order.

"Mikoto, this is Rika, brought in by Shin from the Star Village. Show her around and get her settled in."

Mikoto frowned slightly, glancing at Tsunade, then at Uchiha Shin. She wasn't stupid—she could easily tell that Tsunade was trying to get rid of her for some reason.

But, as a proper kunoichi, she couldn't argue.

With one last look at Shin, Mikoto finally led Rika out, though she did so reluctantly.

The moment the two women left, Tsunade's posture instantly relaxed. A faint pink tint colored her cheeks, and her usually sharp eyes softened. She leaned back, crossing her long, perfectly toned legs wrapped in sheer black stockings—like two decadent treats waiting to be devoured.

"Alright," she said, her voice sultry yet serious. "Tell me what's going on with the Wind Country."

Uchiha Shin raised an eyebrow at her tone.

"Why do I feel like I'm an employee reporting to his boss?" he muttered, reaching down to massage her calf.

Tsunade rolled her eyes before smirking. "Then act like one and at least pretend to take responsibility for this country."

He scoffed. "Nah, I think I'd rather just sit back and enjoy playing with your legs instead."

His words made her face heat up further, but she let it slide for now. The situation at hand was too important to dwell on his antics.

Shaking off the lingering heat, she returned to the matter at hand.

"The Akatsuki first targeted the Land of Wind. Now they're approaching us," she murmured, her brows furrowing. "They're a mercenary group that's been gaining quite the reputation lately. Their leader and deputy leader claim to be Jiraiya's former students."

Her voice turned grave. "And one of their members is rumored to possess the Rinnegan."

That last part was what truly concerned her.

Uchiha Shin, however, remained perfectly calm. Holding Tsunade close, he smirked.

"I don't care what their goal is. Whether they come for war or peace doesn't matter. Those eyes? They were mine the moment they came into my sight."

Tsunade sighed, shaking her head with a chuckle. "You really are something else, you bastard."

But deep down, she already knew—Uchiha Shin was planning to wipe out every last member of the Akatsuki that set foot in his domain.
