Hokage Building
Kakashi was flipping through the D-rank mission scrolls again, as usual, trying to select a task for Team 7.
"Kakashi-sensei, aren't you bored of always taking D-rank missions? How about we do some C-rank missions now?" Naruto asked, leaning in, his voice full of impatience.
"No, Naruto. You still need more experience," Kakashi replied coolly.
"But I already have a lot of experience! And I'm tired of catching cats and dogs!" Naruto said, almost pleading.
He had already had enough of these mundane chores. What he wanted now was a mission with real action—not delivering groceries or babysitting livestock.
"I agree. I think we're ready for C-rank missions," Sakura added, looking at Kakashi with hopeful eyes.
Kakashi had already been considering it. So, he turned to Sasuke to get a final opinion.
Seeing the eager expression on Sasuke's face, Kakashi sighed.
"…Okay, okay. We'll start taking C-rank missions from now on."
"YES! Now that's the spirit!" Naruto shouted, jumping in joy.
"But first, we need the Hokage's approval," Kakashi said, turning toward the stairs. "Let's go talk to Lord Third."
Third Hokage's Office – Top Floor
As Kakashi and his team entered the room, Hiruzen Sarutobi looked up from his paperwork.
He already had a good idea why they were here, but he asked anyway.
"Kakashi, what brings you here? Something bothering you?" he asked, taking a puff from his pipe.
"Lord Third, we're here to request permission to begin taking C-rank missions," Kakashi replied.
"C-rank missions, hmm?" Hiruzen raised an eyebrow. "That's a bit early. You're all still inexperienced—especially you, Naruto. You need to train more before you're ready."
"Hey, old man! I'm not weak! You don't remember? I beat you in one move with my Harem Jutsu!" Naruto snapped back confidently.
Flashback no jutsu:
Inside hokage building
Naruto stood defiantly in front of him, arms crossed, eyes sparkling with mischief.
"I'm gonna show you the ultimate technique I developed myself! Prepare to be amazed, Old Man!"
Hiruzen sighed, amused.
"Alright, Naruto. Let's see what you've got."
Naruto grinned wickedly and flashed through a set of hand seals.
"Sexy Jutsu!"
Poof!
A cloud of smoke exploded—then cleared.
And what stood before Hiruzen was…
...a beautiful, curvy, naked girl version of Naruto, steam strategically placed, eyes twinkling with innocent seduction.
"W-wha—?!" Hiruzen's jaw dropped.
No…! Don't break, Sarutobi… you are the Hokage… The Professor! The strongest of your generation! You—
SPURT!
Blood shot out of his nose like a fountain.
His eyes rolled back.
Thud.
He collapsed backward in his chair, knocked out cold, pipe clattering to the ground beside him.
"…"
Why does he always have to bring up my dark History…?
An awkward silence filled the room.
Sasuke and Sakura glanced at Naruto suspiciously.
What kind of jutsu could take down the Hokage in one move?
Was he hiding his power all along?
No... I just beat him yesterday. So what kind of jutsu is that? I'll make him show me later.
Sasuke's thoughts raced. He was obsessed with strength—if this jutsu was that effective, maybe it could help him get stronger… strong enough to finally avenge his clan by killing That man.
Kakashi, meanwhile, already knew exactly what jutsu Naruto was talking about.
He was speechless.
That technique…
Truth be told, it would work on almost every male ninja. It was shameless, ridiculous—and somehow, incredibly effective.
But only Naruto could pull it off with such absurd precision.
Cough! Cough!
"Well… Naruto, you're right. You can indeed handle C-rank missions," the Third Hokage admitted reluctantly. "I'll grant you permission."
"Thank you, Lord Third!" Naruto beamed.
With a respectful bow, Kakashi and Team 7 exited the Hokage's office.
"Finally! We get to do a real C-rank mission!" Naruto shouted, practically bouncing down the hallway. "Let's hurry up, Kakashi-sensei!"
Back at the mission board, Kakashi flipped through scrolls until one caught his eye.
It was a standard escort mission—to accompany a client from the Land of Waves, an island nation near the Land of Fire. Their client: Tazuna, a master bridge builder.
Kakashi considered the logistics. The risk of encountering enemy shinobi was low. The travel path was manageable. It was a great choice for their first C-rank mission.
He finalized the paperwork and turned to the team.
"This one's set. We'll escort Tazuna to the Land of Waves," Kakashi said. "Since this mission takes us out of the village, be sure to prepare thoroughly."
"Got it!" all three answered.
"Get your supplies ready. We leave tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. sharp. Don't be late."
"Yes, Kakashi-sensei!" x3
Naruto's House
Naruto stood in his room, staring at his empty travel bag, completely unsure of what to pack.
"One cup instant noodles… one kunai… one cup instant noodles… one set of clothes… one cup instant noodles… one water bottle… one more cup instant noodles… uh, did I forget something?"
He paused, thinking hard.
"Oh! Right—one more cup of instant noodles!"
By the time he zipped up his bag, it was practically bursting with noodle cups and the bare minimum of travel gear.
"Perfect!" he said proudly. "Now that that's done… let's select a new bloodline. No point wasting an open slot!"
He opened his golden system panel. It shimmered brightly in front of him.
---
[Development Panel]
• Uzumaki Bloodline
– Purity: 100%
– ∆ Uzumaki Physique (Infancy Phase)
• Uchiha Bloodline
– Purity: 9.47%
– Time Remaining: 4 Years, 4 Months
---
"Man, seeing that Uzumaki bloodline at 100% always makes me feel good. Even if the physique is still in its infancy… it's already overpowered."
He thought for a moment.
"Hyuga bloodline can wait. I'm already working on one dōjutsu—I'll save that for later."
He glanced at the sample labeled "Hinata." Naruto didn't understand why she always acted weird around him, but he liked her. She was kind. She never looked down on him.
His eyes moved down to a trio of familiar clan names:
Nara. Yamanaka. Akimichi.
"Hmm… these three are always together. Their families are some of the top clans in Konoha. Picking one of them next might be smart."
He opened the details to compare:
Nara Clan
Known for their genius-level intelligence and analytical skills.
Their signature ability, Shadow Possession Jutsu, allows them to manipulate shadows to immobilize or control their enemies.
Strategists by nature, they excel in planning and control-style combat.
Yamanaka Clan
Famed for their Mind-Body Techniques, such as the Mind Transfer Jutsu, which allows them to enter another person's mind, take control of their body, or communicate telepathically.
Excellent for reconnaissance, interrogation, and support. Also proficient in sensory ninjutsu and mental tracking.
Akimichi Clan
Renowned for their ability to convert calories into chakra.
They use body-expanding jutsu like Multi-Size Technique to increase their size and strength exponentially.
Members of the clan are known for their durability, physical power, and unmatched chakra capacity among non-tailed beasts.
Although Naruto didn't expect to learn each clan's secret jutsu just from bloodlines, he knew that being born into a ninja clan came with advantages—whether it was access to resources, unique chakra traits, or a natural boost in talent.
"Alright…" he muttered. "Now I just need to decide.".
