Chapter 441 - 3. Sora’s Daily School Life

Walking toward his classroom, Sora felt like many people were pointing and whispering about him. But he was already used to this and didn't bother paying attention.

After all, he was somewhat of a "celebrity," right?

For example, nicknames like "The All-Round Sports Prince," "A Mix of Top Student and Slacker," or "Obsessive Sister-Lover"… In short, all kinds of nicknames made it impossible for him not to attract attention. These were all the work of some boring people!

As usual, he entered the classroom, threw his backpack aside, and laid his head on the desk, ready to continue his "sleeping at school" career. As for classes, he didn't care at all. If it weren't for Shizuka and the old man, he wouldn't bother with this nonsense.

"Sora, you bastard, you did it again, didn't you?!"

Feeling himself being grabbed and shaken, Sora didn't even need to look to know who it was by the annoying voice.

"You really don't learn, Takagi!"

The one grabbing Sora was a big guy named Takagi, sitting right behind him. He was a muscular man trained in the Kendo club. Also, apparently, a sister-lover…

"Damn it, don't act so self-righteous! You hang out every day with cute Shizuka-chan and Asuka, you bastard, give my little sisters back!!!"

Takagi looked furious and ready to explode, shaking Sora hard.

Bam bam!!

The sound of two fists hitting.

"Boring."

Blowing on his fists, Sora laid back down to sleep.

This guy was really annoying. Apparently, he trained in the Kendo club just to beat Sora. But with his little muscle, Sora toyed with him like a pro player with a newbie—easy and fun.

"Waaah… you damn guy, I'll draw a circle and curse you…"

Crouching under the desk, Takagi looked defeated. Not a match for Sora, he could only hope to curse the evil Sora with his psychic power.

Well, although it was frustrating, this was Sora's daily school life.

Sora wasn't worried about Takagi. Although weak, Takagi had some good points—he was like a cockroach that wouldn't die. Soon enough, he'd be back at full strength looking for trouble again. Sigh…

"Ishida, 87 points. Nanami, 75 points. Takagi, 93 points… Sora—"

The first class was math. With the entrance exams approaching, they were doing mock exams in all subjects these days. The math teacher read names while handing out graded test papers. But when he got to Sora's name, he suddenly paused.

The whole class turned their eyes to Sora, who was still sound asleep on the desk. Their faces were slightly red as they tried to hold back laughter. No need to guess what was coming next.

Sure enough, the next moment, the math teacher's voice filled the classroom with excitement and anger:

"Zero points!!!"

"Hahaha…"

Unable to hold it in, the whole class burst into laughter.

"Sora, wake up, wake up!"

Seeing the huge laughter in front of him that couldn't wake the idiot, Takagi behind Sora felt embarrassed for him and quickly kicked him from behind.

"Uh… oh, it's the math teacher."

Opening his sleepy eyes, Sora looked at the middle-aged man standing in front of him with a furious expression, calmly took the test paper full of red marks but scored zero.

"My goodness, the entrance exams are coming soon. Next time, make sure you write your name! Your future, the teacher's, and the class's honor are all in your hands, Sora!"

Grabbing Sora's shoulders tightly, the math teacher looked extremely emotional. For problem students like him, teachers both loved and hated them!

"Ah? Ha…"

Although still a bit dazed, looking at the math teacher's excited expression, Sora still blankly nodded.

"Phew… That's great! Although Sora often makes some silly mistakes, you're reliable when it counts. As long as you promise the teacher, I'm relieved!"

Patting his own chest, the math teacher looked visibly relieved.

"Alright, go back to sleep, Sora. I won't bother you anymore. Just don't forget to write your name on the exam paper next time."

After encouraging Sora, the math teacher left contentedly to continue handing out other test papers.

Well, although this kind of scene always felt a bit strange, the students in this class were already used to it…

"That damn guy!!!"

Tears welling up, classmate Takagi looked at the 93 points on his own test paper, then glanced at the paper Sora had tossed aside like scrap. Somehow, he felt Sora's zero looked better than his own…

Finally, after a whole day of dazed sleep, it was time to get off school again.

Sora always felt like he had forgotten something very important. Instead of wasting time like this every day, he should have greater ideals and pursuits.

But no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't remember what it was. So Sora gave up and decided to just muddle through for now!

Because he promised Shizuka to wait and go home together, even though he was a bit reluctant to go to that scary place, Sora had no choice but to grit his teeth and go.

"Hey, Sora, let's go home together!"

"Just so you know, I'm not waiting here just for you, it's just a coincidence!"

On the way to the clubroom, Sora ran into Asuka. Seeing this girl who was clearly waiting here from afar but still denying it, Sora was speechless.

"Oh, not today. I'm waiting for Shizuka. You go home by yourself first."

Since their houses were on the same street, the three of them often went home together after school. But today, Sora had to wait for Shizuka who was going to a club activity, so he had to refuse.

"I see… then I'll go first."

A little disappointed, although she wanted to say she would wait too, her girlish heart just couldn't bring herself to say it!

"That silly Asuka, could she be liking me? Oh no, this is troublesome…"

Watching Asuka's "disappointed" back, Sora recalled scenes from a recent youth romance drama and rubbed his chin, frowning as if deep in thought.

Because Sora didn't control his voice, the words were just heard by Asuka who had only walked a short distance away. Suddenly, her face turned bright red.

"Kusanagi Sora, you big idiot, go to hell!!!"

With Asuka's embarrassed angry shout, Sora saw something flying toward him and hitting his head with a dull thud.

"Where did this brick come from!!!"

His vision went black; this was the last thought in Sora's mind. Sweat…

"You idiot! Idiot!! Idiot!!!"

Asuka ran back and stomped on Sora, who was lying on the ground like a dead pig, a few times before storming off angrily without looking back…

Not worried at all whether Sora was hurt or not, that stubborn freak was not worth worrying about!
