Chapter 3 : Who Was That Guy?

A "Memory Crystal" is a crystal which acts as a microchip, which transfers memories and knowledge kept in it.
A memory crystal is costly as with it a person can gain knowledge without doing anything. But there's a backlash, there needs to have a certain mental strength to receive it.
Passecian beings can't use one due to their low mental strength, to use a memory crystal a being is need to be at least a Moonlight being.
Dao Li pick the crystal and was about to put it in a safer place then, may be in future he can use it, but before he could do that the memory crystal started shining with voilet green colour and stick to his forehead.
Dao Li: Ugh…! Aaaah! Get off! Get off! You filthy stone. What is it happening? Is this how it was supposed to be? At this rate I will die as I am nor even a Passecian being. I am a Normal Human.
Dao Li tried hard to pull the stone from his forehead, but it was all in vain. After sometime the memory crystal broke into shattered into small pieces and Dao Li fainted at the spot.
A unknown man whose face can't be seen was standing in front of the door of Dao Li's room. Watching at the watch in his hand, he was waiting for something to happen.
*Tick!* *Tick!*
Unknown Man: It's time I should took the remainings.
The unknown man opened the door swiftly so that no sound can be produced. He pick the small pieces left from the remaining of the broken memory crystal.
Unknown Man: I didn't expect that I Unawakened Being can hold the pressure of a Memory Crystal that even a Moonlight Being can't… seems interesting.
I No Longer Wondered Why Chairman Asked Me To Protect Him.
The unknown man left the room quietly after collecting all the pieces and before leaving he also put Dao Li onto his bed.

At the same time on the other hand in the Passec, at the Daylight Shelter.
One Shot Guild Headquarters.
Han Ling throw the file on the desk. Han Ling was sitting in front of the guild leader Yu Qin in her office.
Han Ling: Why did you put that trash in my team? Aren't there any other team who can babysit him right away?
Yu Qin rotate the chair at look at Han Ling with a calm and deep gaze. Cute face, her hairs were pink, eyes were blue. She was really worth of the title of "Goddess In Daylight".
Yu Qin: What do you mean?
Han Ling was cross-legged sitting on the chairs. Her legs was on the desk. Han Ling raised her eyebrow.
Han Ling: What do I mean? You know it already. Don't you?!
Yu Qin: I know but…
Han Ling: But what? You know he is not even Awakened and you even send him to the Dazzling Orangutan Misson, and then even called him back.
Yu Qin: I didn't called him back. I called everyone below Tier 3.
Han Ling: Come to the point.
Yu Qin: He got my weakness, that's why I let him join One Shot Guild.
Han Ling: You weakness? A unawakened being got your nerve, I can't believe it. But if he got I am gonna wreck his neck.
Yu Qin: Calm down, calm down. You don't need to do so, he didn't to it on purpose.
Han Ling: What do you mean? Say clearly, I am gonna mad now.
Yu Qin: Listen carefully, don't tell it to anyone.
Yu Qin stand and go near the glass of the building, her hands were behind her back and her eyes were looking at the stars.
Yu Qin: My grandfather chose him to marry me.

Dao Li woke up and sat on bed instantly. There was sweat on his forehead. He look at his surroundings, there was not the book "Fire Apparentus" and the memory crystal.
Dao Li: Was it a dream? Yes, it must be a dream. Otherwise, what on the earth can a unawakened being use memory crystal.
Dao Li look at the clock and then look outside the window at the garden. Dao Li's room was at the corner from where outside the window was the garden. Dao Li realised something and look again at the clock.
Dao Li: Aaaah! It's about the time to go to buy a Spirit Treasure!!
Dao Li stood up and go straight to the nearby Spirit Treasure store. He brought three treasures two weapons and one unknown type.
Dao Li was now ready to go back to the Passec, but now this time he was going to bed the ring leader.
After entering to the Passec, Dao Li went straight to the area mentioned in the Feeder.
Dao Li: As mentioned on the web there are really Tier 1 beasts, but I am still a unawakened being I have to struggle to slay even the weakest Tier 1 beast.
Dao Li was now at the area named "Wang Mountain". It was a mountain at the south of the Daylight Shelter about a five miles away. At Wang Mountain there were grass as big as a man.
Dao Li: Huh? What's that?
Dao Li noticed something and by making his way in the grass, he found a cave in mid of the mountain.
Dao Li: There might become something? Shouldn't it? Well, I should go better than talking.
Dao Li get inside the cave if may be he get a place to rest for a while, but as he entered the cave he noticed something. Dao Li moved a little and saw it was… it was a skeleton hand, holding a couple of sheets.
Dao Li: "…" Aaaah!!
'Calm down, calm down. It's nothing! Ok it's Nothing. It's just a hand, just a hand.' Dao Li cried inwardly.
Expect what Dao Li saw there was also the other part of the skeleton. Dao Li calm down himself that took a lots of time, but at the end he managed to somehow take the sheets in it's hand.
Dao Li: Fwe, I managed to get these sheets but, what's written on them?
Dao Li took a look at the sheets he retrieved from the skeleton but alas. There wasn't any single word he could read, the paper were blank.
Dao Li: What a waste of time.
Dao Li get out of the cave and was about to throw those sheets, he saw some words appearing on them.
Dao Li: What's it?
He saw them clearly and was surprised to saw it, that was a technique. A Ancient Martial Art Technique.
Nowadays Martial Arts are different from the old type of Martial Arts. Hence, these are called Modern Martial Arts and Ancient Martial Arts.
Modern martial arts was easy to learn and more efficient but ancient martial arts was hard to learn and not as effective as modern martial arts.
The letters was written in ancient language, but Dao Li had learnt it. He don't know why but his grandfather was the one who said him to learn them.
Dao Li: Why it is written in Sanskrit? Was the guy inside the cave an Indian? Exactly who is this mad guy, who can make this type of art.

Dao Li put that sheets on his bag and go back to the cave to take the remaining of the skeleton to at least put it in a grave. When Dao Li came to take the remainings of the skeleton he pick them up and then when he turned back to go outside the cave.
The cave vanished and a hole appeared under Dao Li and he fell in it and the hole also vanished. All this happened under one second.
The next moment when Dao Li turned back to go outside the cave he found himself in front of a… ceiling?
Dao Li: Aaaah!! Hah, I am safe. It's fine, but where I am?
Dao Li just saw only some flickering of light once or twice and found himself in a unknown place. He looked here and there and was stunned to see hills of skeletons. He stepped back in fear and after some steps he can't do that, because behind him was the shifting device.
Dao Li was hit by the right edge of the device's lower part. The shifting device was a door like device, it's top and bottom was stone like, engraved with ancient scriptures. On middle of it there was transparent but little sky blue like liquid.
The sky blue like liquid was the thing from which the organisms can teleport. That's why due to it's difference from teleportation device it's called Shifting Device.
Dao Li saw the device and found that it was broken. It's was simple to recognize any broken device hence it's liquid like structure got broke like glass and turn crimson red.
Dao Li: [lowly] Calm down, calm down. Is there anyone? If not anyone then I can go outside this horrific place.
Dao Li was talking to himself to feel him better. He didn't wanna to vomit after seeing the small hills of skeletons here and there.
The plaza was as big as a hall of a luxurious mansion of Dao family. But the problem was that after every four step there was a small hill of skeleton. The blood spots and position of skeletons was indicating like the one killed them was just walking and these guys who was now skeleton was just keep showing up.
But No One Can't Even Touch Him.
'Who was that type of monster guy? Who killed them, it can't be the work of more then one because there are only one hit on everyone. And most importantly every hit look similar,' Dao Li was thinking that who was that dangerous man who killed every single of them and make these hills of dead corps.
Dao Li didn't dared to stay there further because it only make him more nervous. He stood up and started walking, soon he went outside the plaza and was walking further to go out.
On every path of the hallway, there was tones of skeletons. Dao Li was now curious to know about that, exactly what may have been happened to this place? Why this huge amount of mens came to this place? Just to kill one guy, and who was the beast like guy who killed every single of the corps present there?
As Dao Li was walking he was feeling thrill by seen the corps on every corner, blood on every single wall. There was only one single path on which the mysterious guy was supposed to walk alone.
After walking for a while Dao Li entered the main hall. On the main hall there was a statue of a women. The statue was the only thing free from blood stains. Dao Li curiously go near the statue to see it clearly because it can't be seen properly from behind. But as he go near it something mysterious happened.
