Chapter 93 - fight

fight

"Shuororororo..."

"And who the hell is this clown?" Sanji said indifferently, raising an eyebrow as he looked at Caesar Clown.

The scientist immediately twitched, his expression contorting with fury.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY, YOU BASTARD?!" Caesar roared, his eyes bloodshot with rage.

"I asked who you are, clown," Sanji repeated calmly, exhaling a puff of smoke from his cigarette.

"You damn bastard!" Caesar shouted before dissolving into gas. He reappeared in front of Sanji, castanets in hand, ready to detonate an explosion, but—

BOOM!

Luffy appeared like a bolt of lightning, slamming a powerful punch directly into Caesar's face, launching him several meters away.

"I won't let you hurt my friends," Luffy said seriously. His Observation Haki had clearly warned him of Caesar's intentions.

"Hey, I think this is the guy I'm supposed to arrest," Zoro said, eyeing Caesar with interest. "Leave him to me."

"Shut up. I hit him first, so I get to wreck him. You can arrest him afterward," Luffy replied, arms crossed.

"Oh yeah? And why should I listen to you? You're not my captain!" Zoro snapped.

"I don't care! I hit him first!" Luffy shot back, childish but determined.

Caesar struggled to his feet, clutching his face, panting with pain and fury.

"Don't interfere! I came here to arrest him, so he's mine!" Zoro said, drawing his swords.

But Luffy pressed his forehead against Zoro's, eyes blazing.

"I said he's mine!"

The rest of the Straw Hats watched in disbelief.

"Idiots..." Caesar muttered before lunging at them again.

"SHUT UP! We're arguing over who gets to kick your ass!" they shouted in unison, just as a slash and a punch knocked him out cold.

"How ridiculous..." Sanji muttered, while Nami placed a hand on her forehead.

Suddenly, two figures approached at a calm, confident pace. One was tall, nearly two meters, wearing a pink feathered coat, sunglasses, and sporting blond hair. A few steps behind him came another man, dark-haired with a beard, wearing dark shades and dressed entirely in white.

If Kara had been there, she would have recognized them instantly.

Donquixote Doflamingo and Vergo.

Both had been sent to prison by her years ago—one for infiltrating the Marines, the other simply because she didn't like him.

"Caesar... I told you not to do anything stupid. But you never learn, do you?" Doflamingo said with a mocking laugh, hands in his pockets, his gaze sweeping over the group with disdain.

Luffy and Zoro stopped arguing, instantly alert as they felt the pressure of a powerful enemy.

"And who the hell are you?" Luffy asked seriously.

"Me? I'm your worst nightmare," Doflamingo replied, flicking his hand as if tearing through the air.

In that instant, Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji reacted, shoving the children and their allies to the ground. An invisible slash passed right where they'd been, slicing a wall and tearing up the earth in the distance.

Luffy stood up with a stern expression, eyes locked onto Doflamingo.

"Fine... Keep the gas guy. I'll take care of this one," he told Zoro before charging toward Doflamingo.

"You'll have to get through me first," Vergo interjected, drawing a bamboo stick that was immediately coated in Haki.

But just as he was about to strike Luffy—

CLANG!

Two golden tonfas, also covered in Haki, stopped the blow. It was Gin, the group's second strongest fighter and a silent assassin trained by an S-rank bounty hunter: Tessolo.

Meanwhile, Luffy threw a powerful rubber punch, but Doflamingo hardened his chest with Haki, stopping it without flinching.

Zoro, frustrated, chained Caesar's body with seastone cuffs, then looked up, his gaze fixing on three figures descending from the sky in controlled leaps—faces hidden behind masks.

"CP0? What the hell are they doing here?" Zoro muttered, jaw tightening. Despite the masks, he recognized two of them: Rob Lucci and Kaku. The third was clearly their leader.

"Arrived just in time," Lucci said, glancing around before locking eyes with Luffy.

"Make it quick. Kill them all, then we leave," the leader ordered coldly.

"Understood," Lucci responded before vanishing and reappearing in front of one of the giant children.

But Zoro appeared just as fast, blocking the attack with his sword.

"A Vice Admiral?" Lucci growled, recognizing him.

"Kill him too. Leave no witnesses," the leader commanded again.

"Shigan!" Lucci shouted, trying to pierce Zoro's heart with his finger—but a cutting wave of wind forced him to retreat.

"Get the children to safety!" Zoro shouted to Sanji and the others, eyes never leaving Lucci.

"Tch... Fine," Sanji replied, visibly annoyed but obeying. He signaled the others to retreat, covering their escape.

"You're not getting away!" Kaku yelled, launching himself at Sanji with both swords drawn.

Sanji prepared to counter, but just as they were about to clash—

CLANG!

A crimson flash cut through the air as a figure stepped between them. Her scarlet hair blew in the wind, and her metal winged armor gleamed in the sunlight.

Two swords intercepted Kaku's blades.

"You...?" Kaku's eyes widened in surprise as he recognized her.

Erza Scarlet. From Fairy Tail.

Fairy Tail had uncovered dark secrets about the World Government. And as always, they were determined to expose the truth. CP0 had been sent to "clean up" the scene... but they were too late.

Fairy Tail was already here.

"What should we do, sir?" Kaku asked, never taking his eyes off Erza.

The CP0 leader surveyed the battlefield, calculating the odds... and gave his final verdict:

"Like I said... everyone must die."

He was known as the strongest CP0 agent in the entire World Government.

And he had been sent on this mission for one reason only: the people arriving on this island were all acquaintances of Admiral Kara.

He had to handle this with extreme caution.

They couldn't afford to turn the Navy into an enemy—not now, not when tensions with the World Government were already at their limit.

"So it's true... you're here too," said a voice suddenly from behind.

Guernica turned immediately.

There she was—Kara—not far from the others.

Sitting on a rock with a nonchalant expression.

She wore a bikini beneath her coat of justice, as if she had arrived at war straight from vacation. But her eyes... her eyes showed no relaxation.

"I knew if this had anything to do with you, you'd show up like a damn fly," Guernica snapped, looking at her with a mix of fury and resentment.

"I'm happy to see you too, Guernica," Kara replied, a crooked half-smile on her face. "When was the last time? When I nearly killed your little tiger? Or when we almost started a war against Kaido?"

From a distance, Rob Lucci felt a chill run down his spine.

Kara... the woman who had shattered all his records and defeated him without even breaking a sweat.

No matter how hard he trained... she was always one step ahead.

"You know what's happening here, don't you?" Guernica growled. "If this gets out, it'll be considered an act of war against the World Government. You won't be free from retaliation either."

"Retaliation?" Kara smiled like a beast. "I've been waiting for years for an excuse to declare war on you. Maybe this is the perfect time... and the ideal place."

Guernica didn't reply.

He stayed silent… then vanished like a shadow.

He reappeared behind Kara at brutal speed, his finger transformed into a sharp weapon aimed directly at the admiral's neck.

But Kara barely twisted her body, and at that very instant...

A blaze erupted from her back!

Behind her, Natsu had appeared, roaring with the fire of a dragon.

Guernica's attack was deflected by the incandescent breath, forcing him to retreat in surprise.

His clothes were scorched, but he managed to shield himself with Haki on his arms.

And when he let his guard down for just a second...

Crack!

Kara's foot was already planted in his chest.

"What the—?!"

Guernica flew like a bullet, crashing several meters into the island's jungle.

"You take care of them," said Kara, as her eyes landed on an unexpected figure.

"...Doffy? What are you doing here?"

Doflamingo clenched his teeth, veins bulging on his forehead like branches of rage.

His gaze was a storm of emotions: hatred, thirst for revenge, madness.

"Doesn't matter," Kara continued, shrugging. "I'll leave your ass to my brother."

And she vanished like the wind.

Doflamingo slowly turned his gaze... locking eyes with Luffy.

"Your sister made me lose everything," he said, his voice cold as death. "Now, I'll make you lose... your family."

Luffy said nothing.

He simply lowered his head as steam began to rise from his body.

Second Gear.

"We'll see about that," he declared with a smile full of restrained fury.

"Go protect the children!" Erza shouted as she rushed ahead, sensing the danger.

"Right!" Natsu and the others responded, running to join Sanji and the Straw Hats.

The battle for the island had just begun.
