Aurora plans to go to the office after her new status as Alex's wife is announced to the public.
Since she was pregnant, Aurora no longer accompanied Alex to his business meetings outside the office or on a short business trip to another city; Alvin would accompany him instead.
Alex was worried about her pregnancy, especially since her morning sickness had been making her uncomfortable lately.
Today, she went to the office with Josh as usual.
When the elevator opened, Aurora was surprised to see Alan Walmer and the other secretarial staff, her subordinates, waiting to congratulate her. She could even see Alan holding a bouquet of flowers.
"Aurora, congratulations! I'm both shocked and happy to see the announcement," Alan said while handing her the flowers.
She smiles at him, feeling warm inside, grateful to see the genuine happiness in his gaze. "Thank you, Alan... You are so kind to give me this flower."
