That morning, as usual, Oliver made breakfast.
It was nothing fancy, just some bread and meat combined into a sandwich. But the savory fragrance of his cooking was enough to attract the mythical beast.
The little Koi fish swam through the air and circled his cooking station.
Oliver noticed this and smiled.
The glutton still believes they can't see it.
He carefully placed a plate nearby and moved a couple of sandwiches onto it. Then, he abruptly took two more plates and put them nearby, filling them with their portion of sandwiches.
Root, who was sitting nearby, gave him a questioning look. He had an inkling as to what Oliver was planning.
With a short sigh, he decided not to interfere.
There were two of them and the little Koi, so the third plate was obviously for the Koi fish.
"Do you perhaps want the Koi fish to join us for breakfast?" Root asked.
"Of course. Good food needs to be shared—The more the merrier."
Oliver brought it towards the table placed nearby.
