Okay, my emotional speech is over now 😅

Let's jump back into the classroom, because they're waiting for us!

Let's read...

Chapter 12

(There was a thick tension in the air between Damian and Yuna. It lingered like a storm cloud, heavy and silent—until Miss Lillian called his name again).

[Smiling softly, Miss Lillian said],

Miss Lillian -:"Damian, tell us about yourself."

(Snapping out of his daze, Damian blinked, glanced at Miss Lillian, then at Yuna... and finally at the front of the class).

[His voice came out low, deep, and dark—]

Damian -: "I'm Damian. I'm new here... and thank you."

(The classroom practically exploded).

"Awwww, his voice!"

"It came straight out of my imagination—woahhh!"

(Girls were whispering, giggling, even sighing).

[Miss Lillian smiled again],

Miss Lillian -: "I think Damian doesn't like to talk much, right Damian?"

[Damian turned toward her, said nothing, just gave a slight nod].

Miss Lillian -:"Alright, any empty seats for our shy boy?" [she asked, scanning the classroom].

[Vanessa raised her hand with a smile],

Vanessa -: "Ma'am, he can sit with me."

[Miss Lillian looked over, amused].

Miss Lillian -: "Vanessa, Chloe is sitting there."

[Vanessa tilted her head].

Vanessa -: "She can move to another chair, right Chloe?"

[Chloe blinked in surprise],

Chloe -: "Wait—me?"

[Vanessa rolled her eyes],

Vanessa-: "Of course you. Who else?"

Chloe -: "But Vanessa—" Chloe began,

[ but Miss Lillian interrupted with her calm teacher voice].

Miss Lillian -: "No one's changing seats. There's an empty seat next to jack.

[She turned to Damian].

Miss Lillian -: "Go sit next to Jake, alright? And Jake—" {she smiled}, "Take care of our shy boy."

Jake {chuckled} -:"Got it, ma'am. I'll do my best."

Miss Lillian {nodded} -: "Damian, if you need anything or feel uncomfortable, you can come to me. Now go ahead and sit."

(She gave his shoulder a gentle pat. Damian quietly walked toward his seat—but his eyes were fixed on Yuna the entire time).

(The whole class turned their heads, tracking his every step like he was some movie star. Yuna and Kai glanced at him too as he reached the desk on their right. He set his bag down, pulled out a book, placed it neatly on the table, and sat—composed and calm).

(Yet the entire class still had their heads turned to look at him).

[Miss Lillian clapped her hands].

Miss Lillian -: "Okay, class. That's enough staring. We've all seen the new student. Can we now look at our books instead of Damian?"

[She smirked].

Miss Lillian -: "Let's start our second class. Focus on your studies just as much as you're focusing on Damian."

(The class groaned but chuckled as they turned back around, and the lesson finally began).

(Kai leaned slightly toward Yuna and nudged her elbow).

[In a low whisper, he said],

Kai -: "Yuna... he's that boy we met in the hallway, right?"

(Yuna opened her book slowly, keeping her eyes down).

Yuna -: "Yes... right," she replied without looking at Kai.

[Kai raised an eyebrow].

Kai -: "Do you know him? He's literally staring at you."

(Yuna hesitated. Her fingers tightened around the page).

Yuna -: "I don't know... but something about him...

[She exhaled].

Yuna -: "Like I've met him before. It feels familiar, but I don't know why."

(Before Kai could ask more, the school bell rang—shrill and abrupt).

[Miss Lillian smiled warmly, closing her textbook].

Miss Lillian -: "Okay class, that's it for today. Let's continue tomorrow. Good day!"

(She began gathering her things and headed toward the door. As she stepped out, the entire class stood and chorused),

{"Thank you, ma'am!"}

(But before anyone could breathe in relief—

Silence.

(The air in the room shifted).

(A shadow stood at the door).

(The students turned and instantly froze in place, expressions turning pale—like they'd seen a ghost).

It was him.

Mr. Anderson.

The math teacher.

(He strode in with slow, heavy steps, holding his thick math textbook like a weapon of doom. Without a smile, without a greeting, he walked straight to the front, stood behind the teacher's desk, and slammed the book down).

(His voice was sharp, commanding, almost cruel).

Mr. Anderson -: "Good morning, students."

[He scanned the room like a hawk].

Mr. Anderson -: "I hope you're all ready for today's test. The method I taught last class—you remember, right?"

{Not a sound}.

(He tapped the board once, then pointed a finger).

Mr Anderson -: "I'll write the question. One by one, you'll come up and solve it."

[He narrowed his eyes].

Mr. Anderson -: "And if no one gets it right... well, we'll deal with that dumb student accordingly. Got it?"

(A few students swallowed hard. Some nodded. Others just muttered a terrified—

"Y-Yes, sir...

Mr. Anderson {smirked} -: "Good. Let's begin."

(He turned and began scribbling the first question on the blackboard).

(The chalk scratched like a blade).

(Whispers of panic echoed across the room. Students exchanged nervous glances, eyes wide, faces tense—each of them silently praying not to be called).

(Mr. Anderson scrawled the first question on the blackboard. His handwriting was sharp, fast, and intimidating).

[He turned to the class and called],

Mr Anderson -: "Vanessa. You're first."

(Vanessa, sitting on the first desk, stood up confidently and walked toward the board. All eyes followed her. She picked up the chalk, studied the question for a second, then began solving it).

(Line after line, calculation after calculation — and finally, she turned with a smile).

"Done."

(She walked back to her seat with silent pride).

(Mr. Anderson barely glanced at the board before rubbing the answer off with a swift swipe).

"Next."

(One by one, students were called. Some went up, tried, failed — and stood on the left side of the class, a silent wall of shame growing with each name).

(Others solved it and returned to their seats, heads held high, proud smirks on their faces).

[Then came Mason's turn].

(He stood, calm and composed, walked to the board, and in a few seconds—

Done.

(The chalk barely made a sound as he solved the problem like he'd memorized it in his sleep).

Next, Ryan.

(He gulped audibly, hands slightly shaking as he stepped forward. He began writing… but midway, he stopped. Confused).

He stared. Tried again.

Still wrong.

Mr. Anderson {muttered with

disgust }-:"Left side,"

(Kai was next. He took a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves, and moved to the board).

(His eyes darted over the question, and he started writing).

(It seemed promising… until the last line).

[His face fell].

(He turned to Mr. Anderson, silent).

"Join the dummies."

(Kai clenched his jaw and walked to stand beside Ryan).

"Who's next?"

(The class was silent) .

Then, Yuna stood up.

(Her steps were soft, hesitant, almost fragile as she made her way to the blackboard. The chalk in her fingers trembled. She hadn't studied this. Her mind was blank).

(Her face flushed with pressure, forehead damp with sweat, hands freezing).

[Mr. Anderson raised an eyebrow].

Mr Anderson -: "Another dumb student. Why do you even come to class if you won't study? Failures like you—"

(His voice was sharp, slicing through her thoughts).

(Yuna raised her hand to write, but her fingers wouldn't move).

She felt frozen.

(Her heart pounded so hard she thought the class could hear it).

And then—

A sudden warmth.

A presence behind her.

Close.

Too close.

(She gasped softly when she felt someone lean near her, the weight of his presence grounding her).

(His chest brushed lightly against her back. His breath grazed her ear).

(And then, a deep voice — low, firm, calm — whispered to her):--

Damian -: "I'll solve this… FOR YOU....."

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Seriously… SERIOUSLY — how can someone be like that?!

Damian is turning into the perfect fictional man.😩✨

I mean, just imagine — when you're stuck and don't know the answer, he's right there, solving it for you. Ughhh, I want one too!🤧
