Chapter 160 - The Banquet Part 9

At the main table, Ren seemed to be enjoying the attention of his two girlfriends. He opened his mouth as Masha fed him a piece of steak, smiling slightly as the girl wiped the corner of his lips with a napkin.

"Chew slowly, Ren-kun. The food won't run away."

Soon after, Alya sitting on the other side, offered a spoonful of foie gras.

"My turn. If we let her, Masha will steal all the bites."

"Alya being jealous of her sister is so cute."

Accepting the bite from Alya, Ren pinched the girl's cheek.

On the other side of the table, Erica watched Ren's affectionate interaction with his two lovers with a mischievous smile. She leaned in, whispering near Godou's ear.

"Since King Ren can be fed by two girls at once, how about I feed you too, Godou? Liliana and I would be happy to~"

"Cough!"

Godou nearly choked on his water.

Before Godou could answer, Liliana, sitting on his other side, suddenly spoke softly, her face flushed to her ears.

"I-I... I can do it too... I-I mean, if it's an order from the King... I can't refuse."

Of course, Godou's reaction was predictable. He refused Erica's offer and Liliana's shy reply.

"N-no! No need! I can eat by myself! It's too embarrassing to show off in public!"

"..."

Suddenly, the atmosphere around the main table, which had been somewhat relaxed, fell silent when they sensed someone approaching them.

Two graceful and beautiful young women stepped forward. One carried an unwavering, confident smile, while the other looked nervous, her hands slightly clutching the black dress she wore.

The two women were none other than Momobami Kirari, the supreme leader of the Momobami Family, and her twin sister, Momobami Ririka, who this time appeared without her white mask, revealing her beautiful face tinged with a slight shyness and nervousness.

Kirari walked ahead. Her smile was thin, her expression almost unreadable, but there was no arrogance in the way she looked at Ren and Godou.

"Rokuhara Ren-sama, Kusanagi Godou-sama. It is an honor to meet you both. I am Momobami Kirari, Head of the Momobami Family."

Gan'an frowned slightly, feeling a bit surprised by Kirari's boldness.

'What exactly does this Head of the Momobami Family want?' He thought warily.

"..."

Instantly, the attention of all the guests in the banquet hall was fully focused on the main table. Everyone realized that Momobami Kirari had done something they hadn't dared to do: interact directly with the Campiones, instead of just approaching their companions.

"The Head of the Momobami Family is too bold, isn't she? She's speaking to both Kings directly without an intermediary!"

"As expected of the Momobami Family, they know no fear."

"Tsk, I hope that girl's impudence will bring disaster upon the Momobami Family."

"Well, this is a good opportunity to see the characters of the two Kings."

Curious whispers filled the room once again.

"Interesting. What do you want?"

Ren leaned back in his chair, legs crossed gracefully, and looked at Kirari with a hint of interest. He glanced briefly at Ririka before returning his gaze to Kirari.

'That gaze... is attraction. It's not camouflage, the Seventh King is a womanizer.'

Kirari smiled, this time more clearly, yet still without a hint of arrogance. She then spoke calmly, her voice clear amidst the still hushed atmosphere of the hall:

"I am curious... are the Seventh King and the Eighth King interested in gambling?"

"Gambling? I've never played. You mean... like dice? Or playing cards?" Godou asked innocently.

Chuckling softly, Kirari did not mock him, but it was enough to lighten the atmosphere slightly.

"Any form. As long as there's a wager, it can be called gambling."

On the other side, Ren smiled faintly. "I know quite a bit about gambling."

In his previous life, Ren had often visited casinos. Of course, not because he needed the money. Gambling among the poor was a gamble of life—hoping luck would change their fate. But among the upper class, it was just a game for fun.

Kirari then took half a step closer. "Then how about I invite you to gamble with me? Not for money. But... for something more meaningful."

Masha immediately stiffened at Ren's side, Alya narrowed her eyes, while Erica began to giggle softly.

"She's really interesting. An ordinary person challenging Campiones to gamble? She must be confident in her gambling skills." Erica whispered softly to Liliana, who only nodded slowly but remained wary.

Ren stared at Kirari in silence for a few seconds before finally saying, "If the prize is tempting enough... Why not?"

Kirari's smile widened. Behind her, Ririka bit her lip softly, looking anxious but remaining silent.

Unlike Ren, who showed a little interest, Godou had no interest in gambling at all.

"Sorry... I don't think I'll join. Well, I'm not the type of person suited for gambling. I haven't even been to a casino before..."

"What a pity. In that case, I won't force you."

Kirari showed a feigned expression of disappointment at Godou's refusal, but in her heart, she wasn't disappointed in the slightest. A Campione like Godou, who still thought like an ordinary person and acted like a shy high school student, clearly didn't capture her attention.

Kirari's gaze then returned to Ren—full of interest.

"Seventh King, how about we wager everything? If I lose, then all the assets of the Momobami Family will become yours. Including my position as head of the family, shares, land, property... everything."

"...!!!"

Everyone who heard that froze instantly.

But Kirari wasn't finished.

"And... I wouldn't even mind making my twin sister, Ririka, your concubine."

"Huh?"

This was the first time Ririka had heard that crazy offer. She looked at Kirari with an undisguised look of horror, but she didn't object, only lowered her head as a sign of obedience to the arrangement made by her sister.

"Then, what if I lose?" Ren asked with a raised eyebrow, showing increasing interest.

Kirari touched her lower lip with her index finger, her head tilted slightly. Her smile widened, and a gleam of desire to dominate lit up her eyes.

"If the Seventh King loses, then you will serve the Momobami Family completely... Your body, your power, and your will, all will belong to me."

She smirked slightly, her voice becoming softer but intoxicating.

"As a Campione... Ren-sama won't run from a bet you yourself made? A dignified Campione wouldn't lower himself by refusing to acknowledge a wager, would he?"

"..."

Ren only narrowed his eyes, still analyzing the crazy woman in front of him.

Meanwhile, Alya seemed to frown, displeased, and Masha pouted. But the strangest reaction was Ren's. He was neither angry nor offended.

"..."

Erica and Liliana, standing beside Godou, exchanged glances with extraordinary expressions.

Daring to make a Campione a subordinate?

This was the first time the two girls had seen a woman with such ambition and madness.

They could only think of Kirari's ignorance of how terrifying a Campione could be. Otherwise, she would never have proposed the condition of enslaving a Campione.
