Chapter 100: The So Called Gu Clan Young Miss, Suppressed with a Flip of the Hand

"You… you… you!" Xiao Xun'er's delicate face flushed red with anger, her silver teeth clenched tightly. She wished she could swallow Lu Bu whole.

Lu Bu remained calm, completely indifferent to Xiao Xun'er's furious glare.

"What do you want?" Xiao Xun'er asked through gritted teeth, her tone venomous. She trusted Xiao Yan and believed he would trust her as well, but… this situation was irritating beyond words.

"I heard your family has a lot of good stuff," Lu Bu said with a sly grin, rubbing his hands together. "For instance, that little Dou Technique called Emperor Seal Technique."

"Don't even think about it!" Xiao Xun'er snapped, her voice sharp. The Emperor Seal Technique was a signature skill of the Gu Clan. Though classified as an advanced Earth tier Dou Technique, when all five seals were combined, its power rivaled that of Heaven tier techniques. Only those who made significant contributions to the clan were eligible to learn it.

The idea of handing over such a precious technique to someone else was simply impossible!

"Is that so…" Lu Bu clicked his tongue, feigning regret as he let out a long sigh. "That's a shame. I guess your Xiao Yan gege will have to see this scene. I wonder what he'll think. Will his face turn green from anger… or maybe his forehead will?"

"You dare?!" Xiao Xun'er screamed, her voice sharp. "If you dare do such a thing, I swear I'll take you down with me, even if it costs me my life!"

With that, Xiao Xun'er tapped her foot lightly and exited Lu Bu's room. Unlike when she entered, her steps now carried a hint of panic.

"Jie… women," Lu Bu muttered, smirking as he shook his head.

Under the night sky, Xiao Xun'er stormed off, fuming. This was the first time in her life she had been humiliated like this. As for her earlier threat… neither Lu Bu nor she herself truly believed it.

Lu Bu had the audacity to openly threaten Xiao Yan in her presence did she really think he'd fear her going down with him?

"Damn it… Do I really have to give him the Emperor Seal Technique?" Xiao Xun'er clenched her teeth, veins bulging on her smooth forehead. The more she thought about it, the angrier she became. She had come here to intimidate and drive him away, yet she ended up being cornered instead.

With her resources, providing the Emperor Seal Technique wouldn't be difficult. But the copy in her possession was meant for Xiao Yan, not Lu Bu.

"So annoying!" Xiao Xun'er muttered, kicking a pebble away before returning to her room. She regretted provoking that scoundrel in the first place. He kept using Xiao Yan to threaten her…

Back in his room, Lu Bu chuckled softly, tossing the jade token in his hand. After a moment, he clenched his fist, crushing it into powder with a crisp crack.

Releasing the dust into the air, he let it scatter.

He wasn't so petty as to rely on such tactics to threaten a girl. His earlier words were simply to unsettle Xiao Xun'er and achieve his purpose. Now that he had succeeded, the token was no longer necessary.

As for what to do if she caused trouble later…

That was nothing to worry about. While Xiao Xun'er appeared flawless and untouchable, her greatest weakness was Xiao Yan.

Lu Bu had countless ways to control Xiao Yan. And with Nalan Yanran in the mix, the three of them together formed a natural vulnerability. Lu Bu could deal with them easily divide and conquer, lure and exploit, sow chaos and seize, evade strength and strike weakness, provoke and outmaneuver.

He could pit one against the other, develop spies, double agents, triple agents…

Jie, Jie, Jie… The so called Gu Clan Young Miss was nothing special. She could be suppressed with a flip of the hand!

That said… it was strange. Xiao Xun'er hadn't even mentioned Nalan Yanran. Did she simply not care, or… was she unaware?

If it was the former, Lu Bu had no complaints it was her private matter, after all. But if it was the latter… now that would make things interesting.

"Jie, Jie, Jie… Well, time to cultivate," Lu Bu muttered, grinning before composing himself.

With a flick of his finger, he lifted the Three Line Green Spirit Pill and swallowed it. The pill's immense energy surged through his throat and into every part of his body.

Sitting cross legged, Lu Bu began to refine the medicinal energy within him.

Meanwhile, the shadow on the ground twisted faintly in an eerie manner. The distortion was so subtle that even Lu Bu, with his powerful soul, failed to notice it.

Under a tree in the forest, Ling Ying's gaunt face was drenched in sweat. Hiding from a Tier 7 alchemist with such a strong soul was no easy feathe had barely managed to pull it off.

"But it was worth it. Miss will be pleased…" Ling Ying muttered, his breath ragged as he opened his palm to reveal a jade token.

Although slightly different from the one Lu Bu had used, it emitted an identical energy signature.

Not long after, in Xiao Xun'er's room, the jade token in her hand began to glow, projecting an image of Lu Bu crushing his token.

Xiao Xun'er let out a long sigh of relief. She had already been prepared to compromise, planning to settle the matter before Xiao Yan arrived at the academy.

But to her surprise, Lu Bu had voluntarily abandoned the token.

"This person… isn't that bad after all," Xiao Xun'er muttered, a rare flicker of admiration in her gaze. It was not often she gave credit to any man other than Xiao Yan.

Since that was the case, there was no need to drive him away. With her around, she didn't believe anyone could harm her Xiao Yan gege.

Xiao Xun'er clenched her delicate hands, a faint smile blossoming on her beautiful face.

The night passed without further incident.

At dawn, Lu Bu opened his eyes, his Dou Qi circulating as a faint azure glow shimmered around him. Moments later, everything settled.

"Five star Da Dou Shi… not bad," Lu Bu said with a light chuckle. His body had grown stronger, allowing him to cultivate using the Devouring Ancient Symbol without fear of harm.

A few hours later, in an open field, twenty or so students of Yellow Rank Class Two had gathered.

Standing before them was a woman in green, slightly older than the students she appeared to be in her thirties. She was stunningly beautiful, with a curvaceous figure. Yet, what stood out most was her aura.

Her gentle smile and graceful demeanor radiated a unique charm that captivated those around her.

"I'm only eighteen… liking someone like her doesn't feel right," Lu Bu thought with a sigh. But then he remembered Yun Yun… well, maybe it wasn't that big a deal after all.

"Alright, students," Instructor Ruo Lin clapped her hands, silencing the chatter. She was highly respected among her students. "The Inner Academy Selection Tournament is less than a month away. During this time, your focus will be on constant combat to improve your fighting ability. Combat is the best form of training."

"I will randomly select ten of you to fight in pairs. The rest will observe and listen as I explain the nuances of battle."

"Yes, Instructor Ruo Lin," the students responded in unison.

Ruo Lin smiled and added, "Before we begin, let's welcome our new classmate."

Hearing this, Lu Bu stepped forward and stood beside Instructor Ruo Lin. "Hello, Instructor Ruo Lin. I look forward to your guidance."

Ruo Lin smiled back and turned to the students. "Everyone, this is Lu Bu, our new classmate. He'll be training with us from now on."

"Wow, I thought he was an upperclassman! I didn't expect him to be in our class!"

"Why would you think he's an upperclassman?"

"Because he's so handsome!"

"…"

"He's good looking and unfamiliar. Isn't that exactly how upperclassmen are?"

"Lu Bu, what's your current cultivation level?" Ruo Lin asked. "I need to know to arrange your training."

"I recently advanced to Da Dou Shi," Lu Bu replied with a smile. A faint azure light flickered around him, forming a translucent armor.

The students immediately fell silent. A Da Dou Shi… At his age, there were fewer than ten students in all of Jia Nan Academy with such a cultivation level.

Ruo Lin was at a loss for words. What was the vice dean thinking, assigning someone like this to her class?

"Wow… a Da Dou Shi…"

"He's so strong. I'm only a six star Dou Shi."

"Damn it, we're the same age. Why is he so much stronger?"

"You… just sit and observe. If possible, help guide the others," Ruo Lin said, feeling a little exasperated.

"Of course, Instructor Ruo Lin," Lu Bu replied with a smile.
