Not long after Belle finished preparing her husband for the winter, Rav came in after she helped Rohan into a warmer coat.
"We have arrived. I sent for a carriage a week ago, and it's waiting. Let me do that," Rav stepped in and helped her raise Rohan's head from the bed as she was struggling to do it. Rav quickly assisted her as he feared her slender arms might snap from the pressure.
The lady barely ate, and when she did, she ate a little, wiped her mouth, and said she was fine. Her eyes were getting more hollow with each passing day, and she was losing weight—it worried him so much. But knowing she wouldn't hear anything from any of them, they had stopped trying to get her to eat.
Rav helped carry Rohan out of the ship and into the carriage that was parked away from the dock, with the coachman standing outside it, rubbing his freezing hands together to generate some heat.
