The next day, the two of them went to Wushi. Located in the center of Bali, it feels even more humid and hot, far away from the coast. This place has everything in terms of wood carvings and various handicrafts.
Their first stop was the Imperial Palace. At first, they didn't realize it—it was very small and had a rather primitive vibe. There were many tour groups at the entrance, making it quite crowded. Li Si also noticed a lot of lizards scurrying on the ground, and Leng Mochen took a lot of photos for her.
Right across from the Imperial Palace, there was a shop selling roasted suckling pig rice that was incredibly delicious. Li Si felt the trip was well worth it for this alone.
Afterward, they went to the Wushi market. Every narrow street and alley there was filled with tasty treats and boutique shops. From silverware, wood carvings, and batik fabric to clothing, leather shoes, souvenirs, and musical instruments—it was all here, thoroughly comprehensive.
