Shi Wei recalled the little girl's two drunken states and let out a cryptic chuckle.
"The fruit wine here is no lightweight." He tilted his head, meeting the magnified face of the girl, his gaze falling upon her lips as his Adam's apple subtly rolled.
"It's fine." Yu Zhi held his gaze without blinking, her almond-shaped eyes glimmering under curled lashes, pure and flawless.
She wrapped her arms around the man's slender waist, resting her chin on his shoulder, murmuring, "Even if I get drunk, you'll be here."
Shi Wei pulled her completely into his arms, gently brushing her cheek. The glimmer in his eyes held fragments of starlight, as though ready to drown her in them.
Not caring about the others' presence, he tilted his head, slipping his hand under the hem of her clothes, savoring her softness and drawing in her sweetness.
