Elena adjusted her expression and retorted, "I trust Cecilia."
Mary laughed as if she had just heard the biggest joke in the world, her face trembling uncontrollably with laughter.
"You trust her? Isn’t she just a country woman trying to mingle with high society by claiming family ties with you? You don't trust me, yet you put so much trust in her. Sooner or later, she will take everything from you—once she leaves you on the streets, you better not come begging me to take you back!"
Elena's expression turned cold as she replied, "No. At least Cecilia made money from stocks, while you were close to emptying the company when you were around."
Grayson interjected with disdain, "Stock trading? Never mind that, but the stock she picked only made a bit recently. I already did a check, and that stock is worthless!"
"If you don't believe it, go and check it now. I bet the principal is long gone!"
