Chapter 80 - Divine Realm

After White left, Emperor Ba gazed at the remaining group of heroes. "You can go. Wars and such are no longer important," he said, waving his hand dismissively before turning to leave. "Wait! What's going on? Are you willing to withdraw your forces?" Judo pressed.

"Hmph, the Chosen One has already been born. There's no need for these old bones anymore. The world is yours to shape now," Emperor Ba replied. He then used communication magic to contact Mino: "The war is over. Recall all the armies from the Human Realm." Ignoring the others, he departed.

Judo and Emily exchanged glances, left with no choice but to let it go. "What do we do now? Return to the Human Realm?" Emily asked. "Sorry, what just happened?" Kaia asked weakly. Judo explained everything, and Kaia fell silent for a long time before muttering, "I've dragged everyone down again. I'm sorry." "How could this be your fault?" Emily comforted him. "Yeah, even though we didn't defeat the Blood Demon ourselves, the outcome is what we all wanted. From now on, humans and demons will have no more conflicts," Judo added. Sidoli rushed over to help support Kaia. "Do we still have enough energy to return?" Judo asked. Emily paused before answering, "With our current numbers, we can just barely make it back, but our fallen comrades will have to rest here forever." Judo sighed, "This battle was meaningless. We achieved our goal, but at the cost of so many lives. I can't even face everyone when we return." "I'm sorry. If we had been stronger, this wouldn't have happened. It's our fault for being careless at the start," Kaia said guiltily. Xixi interjected, "The sacrifices weren't in vain. Whether it was Qiao or the other warriors, every one of them played a part in defeating the Blood Demon and convincing Emperor Ba to end the war. We must carry on their will and continue to witness the future of humanity."

Emily activated the magic circle, and everyone supported one another as they bid farewell to the Demon Realm and returned to the Human Realm.

After a brief journey through space the boy brought us to an unfamiliar place. As I opened my eyes, from the dazzling light, I was met with an breathtaking sight—a pristine world filled with birdsong, fragrant flowers, and drifting colorful clouds. The air was refreshing, clean, and in the distance, a white divine temple shimmered faintly. Heavenly beings and divine figures occasionally darted through the sky. "Is this… the Realm?" I marveled. "We've arrived, but this is only the Eighth Heaven. My rank only allows me to reach this far. The God of the Cosmos, Supreme Heaven, resides in the Eighty-First Heaven," the boy said. "That powerful? Is God God Supreme Heaven, then?" I asked. "God? You mean God, the deity worshipped on Earth? He's just a planetary overseer. How could he compare to the Almighty Cosmic God of the Universe?" the boy replied scornfully. (So, this Supreme Heaven is a big deal—God doesn't even register to him,) I thought to myself. "What level would God be here, then?" I asked further. "Why are you so hung up on this? In this vast, boundless universe, countless planetary civilizations have arisen. Earth and the planet you were sent to save are just two among them. Think of each civilized planet as a classroom in a school, each Each assigns a teacher—that's your God. The Supreme Heavenly God is the Principal. This This universe has countless 'Gods' managing different planets, and the planets you heroes are sent to save are chaotic ones without overseers. Under the mercy of the higher gods, these planets are given a chance at salvation. If the heroes fail, the planet is erased entirely. Now do you understand the importance of your mission?" the boy explained patiently.

"I see. I always thought the world I was in was some other dimension, but it's in the same universe as Earth. How far is the planet I went to from Earth?" I asked curiously. "About 4500 cosmic huri, I think. In Earth's light-year terms, that's roughly 1.9 billion light-years," the boy answered. (My God, Ennis's planet is that far from Earth? If not for that car accident and the chance to traverse there, I'd never have met Ennis,) I thought, stunned.

"No need to be shocked. If anyone should be, it's me. I don't know what you've been through, but your energy has rippled across the entire universe. Only the Supreme Heavenly God could achieve something similar. With your current power, you could probably reach the Eighty-First Heaven alone. I can only take you this far—the rest is up to you," the boy said, pointing ahead. "That spiral staircase leading upward is the path to the higher heavens. Whatever challenges lie ahead, you'll have to face them yourself." "Thank you for your help. Once I revive Ennis, I'll return to repay your kindness!" I said, bidding farewell to the boy. Holding Ennis, I set off toward the path ahead.
