What has a beginning always has an ending.
After several hours of having fun and networking, the gala that everyone had waited for the whole year finally came to an end. However, before people started dispersing, there was one last ritual and event that everyone was looking forward to – picking the next clan to host the next gala.
At the stage, there was a large circular container with several golf balls. Each gold ball represented a clan that had not yet hosted the event.
It was a traditional rule that no clan shall host a gala twice when others haven't been given a chance yet. Of course, the chosen clan could refuse to take on such a task. However, could there be clan leaders like that who would refuse such a chance?
So far, there hasn't been such a case. Everyone was looking forward to seeing the next host.
The person hosting that event was none other than Xander, the patriarch who was in charge of hosting this year's gala.
