Chapter 109 - 109. Humanity Is Facing Extinction?! The Final War Begins!

On the screen, Kagami relentlessly fought against two men, driving them back with fiery determination. He hurled fireballs at them, and one struck an adult figure. The explosion was immediate, engulfing the man in raging flames until he was reduced to ashes. However, another adult figure suddenly transformed into the appearance of Acheng, pleading desperately:

"No, big brother! Don't destroy me! If I die, Acheng's memories will vanish too!"

Kagami hesitated, torn by the words. At that moment, Tiandao appeared from behind. Kagami acknowledged him, saying, "Kabuto King!" Tiandao responded calmly, "Step aside. Let me handle this."

But Acheng continued to plead, "Big brother, save me!" Kagami shouted, "Tiandao, stop!" At this point, the child-like figure smirked sinisterly. The audience watching from the three realms erupted in anger:

"Damn these alien insects! They only exploit humans!" "They never cared about us; all their affection is fake!" "They are utterly devoid of feelings!"

Tiandao asked Kagami, "Are you ready?"

Kagami stepped forward decisively, "Leave it to me!" He softly called out, "Explode armor! Stag beetle transform! Speed up!"

Kagami's armor transformed once again, now featuring two sharp knives on his shoulders. The audience marveled, declaring it "cool" and "epic." With his new weaponry, Kagami charged at the adult insect, sparks flying as he slashed it repeatedly. The insect fell to the ground with a loud crash, and once again, Acheng's voice emerged:

"Big brother, will you really kill me?"

Kagami fell silent, and the audience shared his torment, recalling a similar situation where Kagami had to make a difficult choice regarding an alien insect mimicking his younger brother. They understood his inner conflict but admired his resolve when he suddenly declared, "Knight Kick!"

With a mighty leap, Kagami delivered a devastating kick to the adult insect. It exploded in a fiery blaze, leaving the audience feeling relieved and proud. Kagami's determination had prevailed, proving his commitment to principles above personal sentiment.

After reverting to his human form, Tiandao commented, "I didn't expect you to possess such a remarkable transformation device."

Kagami smiled, "Not bad, but I almost lost my life for it."

The video continued, building anticipation as the finale approached. The audience, both excited and anxious, eagerly awaited the conclusion. On the screen, Mishima Masato addressed the public via an electronic broadcast:

"Fellow citizens, we are on the brink of eliminating the alien insects. Please cooperate by wearing your necklaces. Anyone not wearing one may be an alien insect. Report them immediately. Soon, we will announce humanity's victory!"

However, the scene shifted, revealing people without necklaces being captured by ant soldiers—yet they didn't appear to be alien insects. Meanwhile, Tiandao's apprentice, Takatori Renka, handed a letter to Kagami, surprising him. The letter read:

"If anything happens to me, give this letter to Kagami. Their goal is to turn humans into protozoa. The necklaces are merely receivers for a signal that will initiate the transformation. Somewhere, there must be a transmission device."

Recognizing Tiandao's handwriting on the envelope, Kagami's expression hardened. The audience, piecing together Mishima Masato's plan, erupted in outrage:

"This is monstrous! He's not eliminating alien insects—he's turning humans into protozoa!" "How could he conceive such a vile plan?"

Kagami, now determined, set out to stop the transmission. Despite facing resistance from ant soldiers and orders to arrest him, Kagami remained resolute, declaring, "I must stop Negishi's plan!" With the support of his allies, Kagami managed to escape and headed toward the signal tower.

In a hidden facility, Negishi and Mishima Masato prepared to execute their plan. Masato stated coldly, "At three o'clock, the signal will transform all humans into protozoa, ushering in true peace."

The audience's disgust at Masato's words was palpable:

"Destroying humanity and calling it peace? Shameless!" "Someone needs to stop this madness!"

As Kagami confronted the duo, Negishi mocked him, "Didn't you promise to help me?"

Kagami responded firmly, "I won't let you succeed!"

A fierce battle ensued, with Masato revealing his protozoan form and overpowering Kagami. Despite being injured and outnumbered, Kagami's resolve didn't waver. The audience held their breath, fearing the worst as Masato impaled Kagami with his claws, leaving him weakened on the ground.

Masato proclaimed, "Time is up. Begin the transmission!" Negishi addressed the global audience via live broadcast:

"Humans have proven incapable of coexistence, even among themselves. We will transform humanity into protozoa to achieve true peace."

Panic spread worldwide as people realized the end of humanity was imminent. Yet Kagami, battered but defiant, shouted, "Shut up! Among humans, there are those as strong as Tiandao, who fight for coexistence!"

Negishi sneered, but Kagami continued, "Even against the entire world, he never gave up. He fought alone until the very end!"

Suddenly, a voice echoed, "Grandma once said, there is one name you must remember: Tendou Souji, the man who walks the way of heaven!"

The scene shifted to Tiandao standing atop the signal tower, his calm demeanor igniting hope among the audience. His dramatic entrance, leaping from the tower amidst smoke and light, left viewers awestruck:

"This is the coolest entrance ever!" "Tiandao never fails to impress!"

With unwavering confidence, Tiandao declared, "I am the world itself. As long as the world exists, so will I!" Throwing a flower at the transmission device, he caused it to erupt in a blinding white light, halting the signal and thwarting the transformation.

Tiandao's poetic words captivated the audience:

"Give a flower to the man whose dream was shattered. Ascend to heaven with that flower."

Masato, enraged, ordered the protozoa to attack, but Tiandao remained unfazed. "Humans will change," he asserted. "Not for themselves, but for others, to create a better world. This is the way of heaven!"

Kagami, bloodied but inspired, joined Tiandao, declaring, "We will build a world where humans and protozoa coexist. A world without conflict!"

Negishi sneered, "We don't need humans!"

Tiandao replied coolly, "Your vision is too narrow. Humans and protozoa are equal. All life has value."

The climactic battle continued, with Tiandao and Kagami fighting side by side, their resolve unshaken. Together, they symbolized humanity's hope, proving that unity and determination could overcome even the darkest of plans.
