Before the sound that caught the attention of the rogues and Rhaeger, Michael had been keenly listening to them.
But thanks to how focused he was, he didn't realize that someone was approaching from behind, and they tapped his shoulder, giving him a fright, and he nearly screamed, but thankfully, Doctor Ro covered his mouth to muffle his scream.
"It's me." He whispered and Michael rolled his eyes towards him to see it was actually him.
Ah, his heart had nearly dropped into his stomach.
He was doing something risky, after all. It would be certain death if someone were to catch him there.
"We have to leave right away." Doctor Ro said to him.
He didn't want to even know why he was doing something so dangerous. He could ask, but not right now while they were still in danger.
"O-okay." Michael answered.
Since he had already heard something pretty useful, he felt it was all right to leave it at that.
