I sat quetly while I played with my phone next to Nail , I'm not the best bringing out conversations , and even so , neither he seemed to want to speak , honestly I was surprised , he seemed less serious than usual , but... that didnt make sense did it? I mean , we are going inside the reflection , and it was my first time too! Shouldn't he be at least on guard in case i screw something up? in any case , I suppose it doesn't make sense to think about it.
"So..how's your father?"
Did he say something , really? I thought he only could think about ''improvements , trainning and strength''
"He is fine , breaking his back in work like the good workaholic that he is"
Nail sighed slightly as if he got an achivement , "I see , either way , tell Gregor I said hi". I was a bit creeped out , why the personal questions out of nothing? I mean he has been training me for quite a while and never tried to bring out personal stuff , so why now? Tho I wanted to ask that my mind just drifted outside that topic and back to the reflection , me! I am heading to a mother mirror! That place where the news reports that is extremly dangerous , somewhere that if you weren't carefoul you'd end up in a coffin , me! Honestly I was extremly nervous , how does it feel crossing a Mother Mirrour? Does the air inside the reflection feel different? Do I need a better weapon rather than a hunting knife?...
As i kept thinking time passed and we got inside the neighbour city , Celin , Celin was basically as common as my hometown , but the only difference it had was that the Mother Mirrour appeared in it , since then ,this place was filled with people and regulated by the goverment almost like if it was a militar bootcamp.
"We're parking here , its impossible to find a spot if we try to getting further in." I understood , and he was right , the Mother Mirror was basically on what would be the middle of the city , and its always filled with people in day and night plus knowing how it would be filled people from The Forces and I dont think Nail wants to speak to them either. We took off calmly the place had good views thats for sure , but as we got closer to the Mother Mirror the harder it was to move with all the people that there where.
After around 10 minutes, we finally could see the Mother Mirror, honestly it was bigger than I thought, it was filled with people and the entrance to it was an improvised border line with an amount of..5 or six booths and lines of people trying to enter , but there where other two booths that weren't really used , those two had a cartel on it saying ''Guilds and organizations entrance''. Nail looked at me as we got there the guard seemed unsurprised at first and then he spoke , "Please hand over the Guild identification card so we can make sure." Nail sighed as if he was tired, he brought his wallet out and left a card on the desk, I took a glance out of curiosity , it was a pretty normal card, it had its name , lastname birth date , a seemingly blank place where it said "titles" on top of it and the name of the guild or organization he was part of , in his case , The Explorers. "Hm-? Oh , someone from the Hares here? Last news I got from y'all is that all of you went to the north." Nail looked at him a bit annoyed , just as if they were pulling a prank on him , but quickly changed his expretion. "Sorry man , can't really tell you, but I'm sorta trainning the kid over here." He said as he pointed at me and I waved, "So yeah can we make this quick? the guard nodded as he gave the card back to Nail and we got past the border.
Once done, we were just infront of The Mother Mirror , it looked exactly like a mirror , with borders of a platinum color as if it was customized with silver, then I saw how a group of 5 people got inside and the mirror left a small effect on its surface as if it was water, it was the first time I saw this kind of details up to this close, then I felt how Nail touched my shoulder "Its surprising I know, you dont have to worry about anything there's nothing harmful when it comes to crossing it, tho maybe you can get the feeling of the air being slightly different, it's all good." I didn't really understand, what's wrong with him? Why is he so kind today? I mean I prefer it like this but It's still weird, then I remembered that I'm just watching him without answer. "Oh , uh , yeah , thanks" he brushed it off and kept walking and got inside leaving that same effect inside the surface of the portal. I sighed and started walking, not really sure what would I see inside , but hoping that it was as Nail told me. I kept walking and got just infront of the Mother Mirror, breath in, breath out, and with that, I went inside.
