Onyx was jumping and lunging in my mind. Yelling at me to Mark her. I wanted too. I was so close. Her beautiful slender neck that smelled of strawberries after a fresh rain, it was enticing. Calling to me. Calling to my wolf.
He howled in my mind pacing desperate to take over. But I couldn't let him, I had to remain in control. I couldn't Mark her, not without her permission, not without her knowing what that means.
Marking her means she'd be by Luna, and I'd never make a Vampire my Luna, maybe a concubine, but never a Luna.
