Derek wore a crisp white shirt, perfectly pressed, his features refined and elegant, exuding an innate sense of nobility.
Bonnie's expression hardened. "Do you still remember Sabina Mills?"
Derek picked up his knife and fork unhurriedly, his tone casual. "Who?"
"The girl you cheated with!"
His hands paused. Those lazy, fox-like eyes lifted, now sharp and dangerous. "Say that again? I do what?"
"Cheated," she said firmly.
For several minutes, Derek didn't say a word.
"Bonnie Wesley."
He rarely used her full name. Her eyelid twitched.
"Do you realize some things shouldn't be said carelessly?" His face remained expressionless, voice cold and emotionless. "In this lifetime, I've only ever loved one woman. Tell me, who do you think that is?"
Bonnie swallowed. "I saw you holding her. And you still won't admit it…"
The next second, Derek stood up, chair scraping back as he grabbed his coat and car keys, striding toward the door.
