Chapter 81 - Chapter 80: A Warning For Aizen Sosuke

Daemon and the others were still busy completing missions in the Naruto world when an unexpected message popped up in the chat group.

—Three new members have joined the chat group.

Everyone paused. Even Daemon raised an eyebrow.

Among the new arrivals, the most shocking name appeared first: Uchiha Madara.

Yes, that Madara—the one Daemon had just killed not long ago.

[Chat Group]

Yamamoto Mei: Aizen? Damn it! I didn't expect you to join the chat group too!

Yamamoto Mei: I already know your true colors. If you try anything shady, remember what happened to Muzan. That'll be your fate too.

Yamamoto Mei: Why so quiet, Aizen? Just watching from the shadows as usual? You're always such a creepy four-eyed schemer.

Uchiha Miyuki: Haha, it's rare to see the hot-headed Reaper flustered. Honestly, this is kinda entertaining.

Uchiha Miyuki: Also—Madara? You joined just like that? That's incredible luck.

Uchiha Madara (Soul): Indeed. My luck has always been excellent—certainly better than that gambling fool Hashirama. He couldn't win a bet to save his life.

Uchiha Madara (Soul): So this is a live broadcast of sorts? Strange… Was that Nagato boy your doing?

Uchiha Miyuki: Yeah. Let's just say… the kid was a little unlucky.

Uchiha Madara (Soul): Pity. My resurrection plan just got a lot more complicated. But this chat group might offer a different path.

Uchiha Madara (Soul): Oh—and my Rinnegan. It wasn't destroyed, was it?

Daemon: No.

Uchiha Madara (Soul): Excellent. Feel free to keep them for now. If you ever feel like not returning them, I won't complain.

Daemon: ...You're being awfully generous.

Uchiha Madara (Soul): I can sense it already—this chat group is a doorway to a realm far beyond the shinobi world. The Rinnegan means little in comparison.

Daemon: Alright. I'll hang onto them for now.

Just then—

Eriri Sawamura: Wait, what the heck is this?! Is this some kind of weird prank? A chat group? Did a light novel suddenly come to life?!

Kasumigaoka Utaha: Blonde mutt trying to cosplay a heroine again?

Eriri Sawamura: Fat woman in black stockings?

Kasumigaoka Utaha: ...Haha. Still the same yapping golden retriever. Truly in need of both love and discipline.

Eriri Sawamura: W-What's going on here?! Why are you in this group?! This has to be some mistake!

Kasumigaoka Utaha: Whether it's you, Madara, or anyone else—I suggest reading the group announcement before spouting nonsense.

Eriri Sawamura: Tch! Fine, just you wait!

Uchiha Madara (Soul): Group announcement? Noted. Thanks for the reminder.

Surprisingly, Madara was in a good mood and cooperative—perhaps because he had seen firsthand the terrifying power of the time traveler Daemon.

Eriri, meanwhile, was behaving exactly as expected: all bark, no awareness.

One could only wonder—if this golden-haired loudmouth found out that the woman she kept calling "fat" could level an island with a flick of her hand… would she cry on the spot?

Soul Society — Division 5, Captain's Office

While the chat group buzzed with new arrivals, Aizen stood silently in his office, his calm demeanor slowly giving way to something uncharacteristic—disbelief.

He had already reviewed several memory recordings and group announcements, cross-referencing the timelines and details.

His suspicions were gone. The chat group was real.

"A Reincarnator... that woman, Yamamoto Mei, is one? And there are others too," he muttered, removing his glasses and staring coldly at the screen.

"Do they know my world's plot...?" he mused, eyes narrowing.

Each line of the group announcement revealed more names and more absurdities.

Heroic spirits. Ninja. Gods who can be slain. Humans who can destroy planets with a punch. Celestial Dragon Daemon Saint…

His fingers tightened around the frame of his glasses.

And yet—

Aizen laughed.

For the first time in his life, a true, honest laugh.

"I've been so blind. So... small."

He had once believed he was above it all. That the Soul Society was a cage, and the beings within it, unworthy rivals.

But now?

"The boundaries of Shinigami… are nothing," he whispered, eyes glowing with ambition.

"What greater joy is there than to realize how little you truly are?"

It was never about ruling. It was about surpassing.

To stand among monkeys and be forced to act like one—that was despair.

But now he'd seen the stars.

"Yes," Aizen said to no one, "this chat group... this is salvation."

Then, noticing Yamamoto Mei's not-so-subtle warnings in the chat log, he sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose.

"So I've already left a bad impression," he said wryly.

Scheming—was that how they all saw him?

Well… it wasn't wrong.

But perhaps, in a group like this, there would be no need to pretend.

Aizen Sosuke: Yamamoto Mei. Don't worry, I've more or less figured out the purpose of this group. I won't go seeking death like that Muzan Kibutsuji mentioned in the pinned message.

Yamamoto Mei: That's the right mindset! But don't get too comfortable—I'll still be keeping an eye on you.

Aizen Sosuke: No problem. I'm just surprised... I didn't expect you to be a Reincarnator. Does the Captain-Commander know?

Yamamoto Mei: ... Whether that old man knows or not is none of your business.

Aizen Sosuke: Oh? Sounds like you're not sure yourself. So, you're deceiving the entire Gotei 13... just like I did?. That's not very kind. The people who trust you might be hurt, you know.

Yamamoto Mei: ...

Daemon: As expected of Aizen. He saw through everything in an instant. Mei's completely speechless.

Aizen Sosuke: Celestial Dragon Daemon... greetings.

Daemon: Well, hello.

Aizen Sosuke: I've heard rumors. They say you're strong enough to destroy a world. Are you currently the strongest member of this group?

Daemon: Probably could be considered, yeah.

Aizen Sosuke: Interesting. I have a feeling we might share similar goals. What do you think?

Daemon: Who knows about that kind of thing? But hey—if you earn the group's trust, you're welcome. Friends or foes, it's up to you.

Aizen Sosuke: I see. I understand now.

Uchiha Miyuki: Hahaha! This is amazing! I actually witnessed the Goddess of Death—our favorite violent woman—get completely shut down twice in one day!

Uchiha Miyuki: Yamamoto Mei, you angry little goddess of death... You don't want everyone knowing you're a Reincarnator, huh?

Uchiha Miyuki: Aizen! I'm rooting for you! Let's defeat the violent death lady and take over Soul Society together!

Daemon: ... Are you seriously doing this again?

Yamamoto Mei: What the hell are you blabbering about, you shameless idiot?!

Aizen Sosuke: A Reincarnator from the Naruto world, huh? How do I put this… lively?

Kasumigaoka Utaha: Ignore her. That moron acts like this every day.

Aizen Sosuke: … I will keep that in mind.

Uchiha Madara (soul): What is this nonsense?! I—Uchiha Madara—was betrayed? By Black Zetsu?!

Uchiha Miyuki: So you've seen the memory logs already? That was fast.

Uchiha Madara (soul): I skipped everything else. Just read my parts.

Uchiha Madara (soul): That bastard Zetsu… when I get resurrected, he's the first one I'm killing!

Eriri Sawamura: I just finished reading my memory log… So this is all real?

Eriri Sawamura: You're all from different worlds… with absurdly powerful people… and multiple Reincarnators?

Eriri Sawamura: Wait—even that fat girl in black stockings became a monster that could wipe out an island!?

Kasumigaoka Utaha: Yes, my dear Golden Retriever. If you don't believe it, try looking out the window~

Eriri Sawamura: Huh? Outside the—

AHHH!! D-DRAGON?!

Kasumigaoka Utaha: Haha! Your reaction is priceless. I feel so much better now.

Eriri Sawamura: W-Wait… That pink dragon… was that YOU?!

Kasumigaoka Utaha: Sigh …Hold on. I'm coming in.

[Scene: The World of Daily Life Romcoms]

Kasumigaoka Utaha lands lightly on the balcony and walks in, transforming back into her human form.

Eriri stared blankly as Utaha stepped into her bedroom, her mouth agape.

Eriri: It's really true… you're not just trolling me…

Utaha: smirking I love that stunned look. Adorable.

She stepped closer, grabbed Eriri's pale, slender wrist, and suddenly pressed her down onto the bed.

Eriri: H-Hey! What are you doing, you fat pervert Utaha?!

Her face turned crimson as she caught the faint scent of Utaha's perfume. Memories from a certain steamy book flashed in her mind, and her body tensed.

"Of course I'll bully you. After all, you know my secret."

Kasumigaoka Utaha gave a devilish grin. Before Eiriri could process what was happening, Utaha flipped her over and raised her hand toward her butt with theatrical precision.

"In honor of you calling me 'Fatty Utaha' in front of the world's noble gentlemen, I sentence you to one hundred spanks, you blonde golden retriever!"

"Wha—Wait! No… No! AHHHH!!"

Inside the Sawamura residence, a loud shriek echoed through the upper floor.

Downstairs, Sayuri Sawamura sipped her tea, chuckling behind her hand.

"Haha… has Eiriri come up with some new eroge plot ideas again? I really do love this industry."

Unbeknownst to her, her daughter wasn't brainstorming storyboards—she was currently being tormented by none other than Kasumigaoka Utaha.

The rest of the chat group had temporarily gone silent after some casual banter.

Meanwhile, Aizen and Uchiha Madara were already offline, each diving into the memory files sent by the group to uncover the secrets of their past and future timelines.

Just before logging out, Daemon remembered something important.

Daemon: "@Uchiha Madara (soul) @Aizen Sosuke @Sawamura Eiriri — All newcomers, don't forget to claim your welcome reward from the chat group!"

Uchiha Madara (soul): "There's a reward for newcomers? Acknowledged. Thank you."

Aizen Sosuke: "Does the reward include a 'Hand of God' or perhaps a system-level item? I'll open it right away."

Sawamura Eiriri: "Ha… ha… I can't… I'm gonna die… I'm seriously dying here…"

Daemon: "???"

Daemon: "Are you two… driving? Driving is prohibited in the chat group!"

Kasumigaoka Utaha: "Relax, Mr. Noble. I'm just playing a game with this golden retriever loser. I'll explain the rewards to her later. Bye bye~ Logging out now!"

Daemon: "…Fine."

He shook his head.

He couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for Eiriri.

With Utaha now a dragon girl who could fight him for twenty-four hours straight, how could Eiriri's tiny body survive such a monstrous sparring session?

"U-Um… Mister?"

A timid voice pulled Daemon out of his thoughts. He looked down to see a trembling Konan, kneeling helplessly on the ground.

Right. He wasn't in his world anymore. He was still in the Naruto world, and currently… seeking justice.

Yes—justice. Not bullying. Definitely not bullying.

After all, they never meant to hurt the three war orphans. It was their overreaction that escalated the situation.

They were the victims here!

Well… maybe blaming Nagato and the others wasn't entirely fair either.

Daemon sighed inwardly. These three grew up in the chaos of Hidden Rain—invaded, oppressed, and traumatized by the constant wars waged by the Great Nations.

Given that, wasn't it natural to lash out when approached by a powerful stranger?

Yes. That was it.

The world was at fault.

The real villains were the Fire, Earth, and Wind countries, who crushed the Rain Country underfoot for decades.

And as Daemon thought this over, Konan let out a stifled gasp as he suddenly scooped her up into his arms.

"Konan!"

Yahiko screamed in desperation, his body broken, unable to move.

"This is the price of weakness," Daemon said calmly.

"When you strike at the strong, you must be ready to face the consequences."

Esdeath's high-heeled boots pressed down on Yahiko's head, her cold eyes devoid of sympathy.

"You brought this upon yourselves," she added, emotionless.

Luo Hao and Uchiha Miyuki stood by silently, their expressions grim.

The earlier summoning of the Heretic Golem had left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. It had pushed even them to the edge.

Only Uzumaki Kushina looked conflicted, her hands clenched. But before she could speak up, the voice inside her mind interrupted.

"Don't interfere, Kushina."

Inside the sealed space, the Kyuubi warned her.

"That man likes you. That's rare for a jinchūriki. Don't do anything to lose that favor… or you'll drag me down with you too. Got it?"

"…I got it," Kushina whispered, trembling.

If even Miyuki and Luo Hao, Daemon's closest companions, hadn't spoken up, what right did she have?

Then Daemon's voice broke the silence.

"If I told you… I was helping Nagato by eliminating him… would you believe me?"

Konan flinched. Her eyes remained closed, her fragile body trembling like a frightened rabbit in his arms.

But his voice was soft—gentle even.

Like a storm paused in quiet admiration of a delicate flower.
