Kazuki glanced at the mission reward explanation and recalled that he had already increased his Psychic Power by 50%. If he completed this mission, his Psychic Power would reach 100%.
However, such a powerful ability had limited applications, especially within the confines of a Gym. Still, having such a strong ability wasn't a bad thing.
The difference between having it and not having it was like night and day. When others suspect you possess a devastating weapon, it's best if you actually do.
"What's wrong, Kazuki? Is that black blob something bad?" Misty asked, unable to recognize the Pokémon that had run by too quickly.
"It's nothing bad, just a Venonat!" Kazuki replied.
"A bug?" Misty shivered at the keyword and immediately hid behind Kazuki.
"What's going on?" Suzie asked, confused by Misty's reaction.
"Hehe, she's scared of bugs!" Kazuki chuckled.
"Suzie, you should consider catching a Bug-type Pokémon. When I'm not around, it'll keep her in check!" Kazuki teased, playfully lifting Misty's chin.
"Ugh, you're so annoying! You always like to bully me, and now you're dragging Suzie into it!" Misty opened her mouth, pretending to bite Kazuki's finger.
"Oh, I see! Don't worry, Misty, I won't scare you with bugs. I'm not great at taking care of Bug-type Pokémon either, so I won't catch any!" Suzie reassured her with a high EQ.
"Suzie, you're the best!" Misty immediately clung to Suzie.
"Alright, Suzie, you and Misty stay close. The architecture here reminds me of a ninja compound. There might be a lot of traps inside," Kazuki warned before leading the way into the Fuchsia Gym.
For an ordinary person, this task would require extreme caution, carefully observing every detail to avoid triggering traps. But for Kazuki, who possessed intermediate Aura Power, it was a different story.
As soon as they entered, Kazuki pushed open a hidden door and effortlessly removed a bag of flour that was about to fall. Meanwhile, the Venonat ahead waited for the trio, worried they might trigger a trap. However, Kazuki, who could foresee the script, wasn't in a hurry.
He calmly walked up the stairs and, upon reaching the corridor, released his Wartortle, who used Water Gun on a suspicious floor tile. Moments later, a Voltorb hidden beneath the tile exploded, knocking itself out.
Kazuki continued to open hidden doors along the way, leaving Suzie and Misty in awe.
"Kazuki! Have you lived here before? You're acting like you're at home!" Misty exclaimed.
Kazuki picked up a wooden mallet from the floor and triggered a spring-loaded trap before explaining, "I've read some books on trap setups. These are just basic traps, and they're pretty obvious once you know what to look for."
Kazuki's casual assessment of the traps infuriated Aya, who was secretly listening in using her ninja skills. "This guy dares to say my traps are too simple? Unforgivable!" Aya angrily pressed a button, causing the floor beneath Kazuki and the girls to rotate, sending them into a tilted room.
Kazuki frowned as he observed the room. "This floor isn't part of the main structure. How did it rotate without us triggering anything? Is it manually controlled?" He expanded his Aura Power and quickly detected a hidden figure behind the third wooden wall.
Just then, the ceiling of the tilted room opened, and a swarm of Voltorb rolled toward them. Kazuki was about to use his Psychic Power to control the Voltorb when—
"Psyduck!" The startled Psyduck used Disable, freezing the Voltorb in place.
"Huh? Psyduck! Is… is that your move?" Misty, who had been panicking, was overjoyed to see Psyduck use an attack move for the first time.
As the Voltorb exploded harmlessly above them, Kazuki and the girls safely navigated the tilted room's trap.
"Wow, Kazuki! You weren't lying! Psyduck really is a legendary Pokémon!" Misty exclaimed, jumping in excitement and forgetting they were in a tilted room.
"Whoa!" The two girls collided, their chests nearly bursting out of their clothes.
Kazuki glanced back at the spectacular sight but quickly refocused. There was still a mischievous ninja girl behind the wooden wall who needed to be taught a lesson.
"Be careful, you two! I'll go ahead. Wait for my signal before you follow!" Kazuki instructed.
"Go ahead? Where?" the girls asked, confused.
Kazuki took a few steps, grabbed a curtain, and pushed open a hidden door in the wooden wall, spinning into another room.
Aya, sitting in her chair, was startled by Kazuki's sudden appearance and immediately threw a few shurikens at him. Kazuki deftly used the curtain to catch the shurikens and sent them flying back at Aya. His aim, guided by his Psychic Power, was far more accurate than hers, and the shurikens tore through Aya's clothes.
Kazuki looked up and, seeing Aya's disheveled state, couldn't help but think of a certain ninja girl from a story.
"Damn it! I'm Aya, born in the shadows and living in the shadows! How could I lose to an amateur like you?" Aya stood up, ignoring her exposed state, and began making hand signs, determined to teach Kazuki a lesson.
A puff of smoke appeared, and Aya vanished, planning to use her signature ninja technique to ambush Kazuki. However, her stealth was useless against Kazuki's Aura Power.
As Aya approached Kazuki from behind, he swiftly turned around, swept her legs out from under her, and then grabbed her, lifting her upside down.
"Such… such fast reflexes and strength!" Aya exclaimed, unable to move.
Slap! Kazuki spanked Aya's butt, leaving a red mark even through her underwear.
"What… what are you doing? I'm a ninja!" Aya protested.
Kazuki remained silent, continuing to spank her.
Rip! In her struggle, Aya's top tore open, and she finally began to plead. "Ah! I'm sorry, I was wrong! Please stop, my clothes are going to be ruined!"
Slap! Kazuki gave her one final spank before tossing her back into her chair.
Aya hugged her chest, her eyes moist as she looked at Kazuki, vowing never to use her ninja skills to mess with people again.
Kazuki called out to the next room, "Misty, Suzie, come over!"
Misty recalled Psyduck, and the two girls carefully made their way across the tilted floor, following Kazuki's path. When they entered the room and saw Aya's torn clothes, barely covering her, they were stunned for a moment.
Misty recognized the torn fabric as part of a ninja outfit. "Ah! Kazuki! Don't look!" Misty quickly ran to Kazuki and covered his eyes.
"This… this is a ninja technique!" Suzie, hearing Misty's words, also rushed to Kazuki's side, standing on her tiptoes to block his view.
"Huh? What… what are you talking about?" Aya, one hand covering her chest and the other her lower body, stood up angrily. "I… I would never use such a cheap ninja technique! You three are ganging up on me in my own Gym!"
"Oh? So you do know this is the Fuchsia Gym?" Kazuki removed Misty's hand from his eyes. "If this is a Gym, why aren't you using Pokémon to battle?"
"My traps aren't cheap!" Aya started to retort but stopped when she saw Kazuki raise his hand, her butt still stinging.
"Fine! Wait here! I'll change my clothes, and then we'll have a proper Pokémon battle!" Aya, her face red, ran to the back room.
Aya removed her torn ninja outfit and, after taking off her underwear, glanced back at the red handprint on her pale buttocks. "That jerk! I've never been spanked before! How could he treat a girl like that?" Aya gently touched the mark.
"Ouch! He's so strong! This feeling… it's so strange! Is this how he usually plays with his two female companions?" Aya seemed to have developed a peculiar reaction to Kazuki's treatment. Instead of pure hatred, she found herself fantasizing about Kazuki, Misty, and Suzie.
After a moment, Aya shook her head. "What am I doing? I need to teach that guy a lesson!" She quickly changed into a new outfit, grabbed her Poké Balls, and returned to the main room.
"What's your name?" Aya pointed at Kazuki with a commanding presence, though her words weren't the usual pre-battle taunts.
"Kazuki, Pokémon Trainer!" Kazuki observed Aya's new red, traditional outfit, which still exuded an elegant and sexy charm.
"If you'd worn this earlier and behaved, you wouldn't have needed that lesson!" Kazuki teased.
"I… I like it, and it's none of your business!" Aya replied with the attitude of a tsundere girlfriend. "Enough talk, Kazuki! Let's settle this with a Pokémon battle! I'll teach you a lesson!"
Aya angrily released her Venonat. Kazuki, who had prepared his Pidgeot for the Fuchsia Gym, decided that his Charmeleon would be enough to handle Aya's Venonat.
"Alright, let's continue the lesson! Charmeleon, show her some fiery moves!" Kazuki released his Charmeleon.
"Charmeleon?" Aya was stunned. "This guy's Pokémon is already at the Elite level! This must be his strongest Pokémon! I can't let him intimidate me. Maybe his Charmeleon's level is just for show and not actually strong."
"Venonat, go! Show him what you've got!" Aya commanded.
"Charmeleon, use Flamethrower!" Kazuki casually gave the order.
Charmeleon's Fire-type moves had been boosted by 20% through training, and the Charcoal item added another 20%, bringing the total power of its Fire-type moves to 140%. When Charmeleon unleashed its powerful Flamethrower, Venonat panicked and tried to flee, but it was no match for Charmeleon's speed. Just as the flames were about to engulf Venonat, Aya shouted, "Venonat, use Sleep Powder!"
Venonat desperately released a cloud of powder, and Charmeleon inhaled a small amount.
Kazuki smirked. "That's not enough." He then commanded, "Charmeleon, use Slash!"
Charmeleon shook off the effects of the Sleep Powder and lunged at Venonat, striking it with a powerful Slash. Venonat, unable to withstand the attack, fainted.
Aya, still unwilling to admit defeat, could only mutter, "Hmph! You're good."
"We won! Yay!" Misty cheered, then turned to Aya. "Hey, ninja girl, hand over the Fuchsia Badge now!"
Aya's face twitched, and she whispered, "I… I don't have the Fuchsia Badge."
"What? No Fuchsia Badge? Then what were we battling for?" Misty demanded angrily.
Before Aya could explain, a cloud of smoke appeared. When it cleared, a middle-aged man who resembled Aya but had a more mature and composed demeanor stood before them.
"Brother, you're back!" Aya said, relieved.
Koga first gave Aya a stern look. "Aya, you're always causing trouble. I was only gone for a short while, and you're already messing with new trainers." Aya shrank back, not daring to argue.
Koga then turned to Kazuki. "I apologize for my sister's behavior. I'm Koga, the true Gym Leader of the Fuchsia Gym. You'll need to defeat me to earn the badge."
"Gym Leader Koga, your Gym's rules are quite complicated!" Suzie stepped forward, defending Kazuki. "We've already navigated a bunch of traps and won a Pokémon battle. Now you're telling us we have to battle you too? Is this how the Fuchsia Gym awards badges?"
Suzie, having heard from Kazuki about Koga's potential to challenge the Elite Four, wanted to help Kazuki reduce the difficulty of the challenge.
"My apologies. Here's the deal: the Fuchsia Gym's rules are a 2v2 challenge. The previous battle counts as your first win. If you can defeat my next Pokémon, you'll earn the Fuchsia Badge. How about that?" Koga proposed.
Kazuki was surprised that Koga, a Team Rocket executive, would actually change the challenge rules because of two girls. It seemed Koga's focus was entirely on his goal of becoming an Elite Four member, and he didn't want to cause too much trouble at the Gym.
"Alright…" Suzie looked back at Kazuki.
Kazuki stepped forward, gently thanking Suzie, then replied to Koga, "Your sister is quite mischievous. Since you're only using one Pokémon, I'll do the same."
The mission's original requirement was to use only one Pokémon, but the atmosphere had shifted, and Kazuki felt it was the right move.
