Harry Hunter was dressed in a crisp suit, white shirt, and navy striped tie, clearly having rushed over straight from the office.
He walked in, his gaze fixed on Isabella Weaver, seeing her unharmed, the chill radiating from him dissipated slightly.
He extended his hand to Isabella, his voice calm: "Madam, let's go home."
Isabella looked at his large hand, smiled gently, and placed her hand into his palm.
His hand was warm and dry, gripping hers tightly, giving her a special sense of security.
She followed Harry Hunter outside, as the voices of Alexander Parker and Officer Danny Cameron rang out simultaneously:
"You can't leave!"
Harry Hunter asked coldly: "Which law did my wife violate?"
"Are you her husband?"
"Yes."
"Someone has reported you in connection with a disappearance case! Both of you need to stay and cooperate with the police investigation!"
"Contact my lawyer for such matters. My wife is hungry, I'm taking her to dinner."
