Wei Xueqing ran crying to the street, squatting by the corner and burying her head, sobbing.
Yang Chen stood beside her, unsure of how to comfort her. He lit a cigarette, smoking silently, disregarding the strange looks from passersby.
After a while, a woman approached Wei Xueqing and said, "Hey! Girl, do you need help? Do you need me to call the police for you?"
Wei Xueqing lifted her head, looked at the woman, stood up, and said, "Thank you, no need, I'm fine, thank you!"
The woman left.
Wei Xueqing looked apologetically at Yang Chen, "I'm sorry, I really lost my composure."
Yang Chen tossed away the cigarette butt, shaking his head slightly.
