Luna went back to her room and saw Bia, who was still sleeping on the bed quietly. She pulled out her phone and dialed Emma's number. Lately, Emma had been busy with the company and only came to the mansion when it was nighttime. She was in the company when she heard the mansion was burnt to ashes.
Emma picked up.
"Come to my room immediately," Luna instructed. With that, she hung up the call and walked up to Bia. She used her slender fingers to brush the strands of hair on the girl's angelic face.
"We'll go to shopping tomorrow. Don't you worry. Soon everything will be alright," she said, smiling. The prophecy. She remembered. The smile on her face vanished as if it never existed in the first place. She was going to die.
"I don't believe that shit!" she muttered under her breath as she started breathing heavily. The air around her seemed hot as her breath arched.
Knock knock!
Someone knocked on the door. Luna took a deep breath as she stood up to open the door. It was Emma.
"Come in," Luna said, walking back to the bed while Emma came in, shutting the door behind her.
"Teresa said you guys are going on a mission tonight."
"Yes."
"What do you want me to do?" asked Emma. Luna was staring at a space while Emma's eyes were fixed on her.
She averted her gaze from whatever she was staring at and looked at Emma in the eyes.
"Help put on makeup."

Outside the mansion, three black sleek SUVs were outside together with Teresa's team members.
They were all set to go, and everyone was with a solemn expression. They didn't even risk breathing carelessly, else Teresa would put them in their place.
They all waited for fifteen good minutes before Luna finally arrived with a blue-yellow dress that was barely touching her knees. The dress was a little bit flay as the upper part kissed her alluring body. She looked like a seductive goddess, and her hair was tied up in a bundle. Her heels were also yellow. With her kissable lips that were painted pink.
As soon as she arrived, the air seemed hot, and everyone could feel the aura she was radiating.
"Everyone ready?" asked Luna. She was carrying a yellow cross bag that hung on her shoulder.
"Yes, boss," replied everyone with heads down to their shoes. No one dared to look at Luna. They could only see her yellow heels.
"Let's get going," said Luna, taking a quick glance at Teresa, who just stared back at her.
'Teresa, stick to the plan,' Luna said with eye contact.
Teresa could only nod. After all, she had no say in this.
Luna got into the SUV as she balanced herself comfortably.
'This is me, I need to do this. If Boi is gone, I'll be taking my first step to victory,' she thought in her mind as a smile tugged on the corner of her lips.
"Here, boss," Teresa stretched her hand through the car glass window as she handed over the earbud to Luna, who accepted it immediately. She fixed it in her ear, using her hair to cover it.
She looked up only for her to see Teresa looking at her.
"Don't worry, Teresa. I'll be fine. By the way, what's the time?" Luna asked.
"It's almost twelve a.m., boss," replied Teresa.
"Let's go then," and Teresa nodded. Though, she was unsure if this mission would be a success because if anything happened to Luna, there was no way she wouldn't go in.
"The rules are simple. The first floor is where the party is taking place, while Boi is on the top floor. Girls are usually lined up, and he will pick who he wants for the night," explained Teresa. She had to make sure Luna got it as much as Luna wanted her to understand as well.
"I'm sure he'll pick me," said Luna as she smiled slightly.
"Let's hope he doesn't recognize you," said Teresa as she stretched her hand and held Luna's hand. Luna heard her chant something under her breath with closed eyes. When Teresa opened her eyes, she slowly let go of Luna's hand.
"All good," said Teresa with a happy grin.
"Huh?" Luna looked confused as she slowly looked at the car mirror to see blonde hair. In fact, all her hair was blonde. Starting from her brow and lashes. She suddenly remembered her family. Her face dimmed down. She also wanted this type of hair. Maybe... maybe her family could love her. She glanced back at Teresa.
She wanted to tell Teresa to hug her, but she held it in.
"Let's go," she said, trying not to show any emotions in front of Teresa.
"Okay," Teresa replied as she moved to the other car.
Everyone was in, and Luna's car was the first car to leave the Alpha Mega Empire. Five minutes later, Teresa's car followed, and then the last car. They drove in the quiet night. No ordinary human in his right mind would drive so late at twelve a.m.
Thirty minutes later, Luna's car pulled up in front of a massive mansion that was painted pure shiny white.
The driver came out and opened the door for Luna, who stepped out like a queen who had come here to bed a man. She passed through the little glass gates casually as if this was just her normal high school party.
A little fear crept in, but she overcame the fear. She was desperate to kill Boi. She didn't mind killing any blood-sucking creature.
"Boss, are you in?" she heard Teresa's voice from the earbud. Teresa was outside the mansion in one of the cars. While the rest of the team just arrived and were yet to take their positions.
"Boss," Teresa called again. Luna didn't even bother to answer. She was just at the first floor where the party was going on, and Teresa was already calling her? 'Teresa is really stubborn,' thought Luna in her mind. The place was crowded with vampires as they all carried glasses of blood. Music played in the background.
Luna kept a calm facade. She had to find the room where the human girls were so she could bribe someone and take their place. That way, she'd be able to get in easily. And then she noticed a room where women were just going in with beautiful dresses.
'That must be it,' she said in her mind, intending to go in when a voice cut through the air.
"Hey, beautiful lady, how can I help?" She spun around to see someone with bright red eyes.
'Pureblooded vampire? Damn!'
