An hour had passed and our meeting had just ended. I let out a sigh as I walked out of the room with Nora by my side. Billy was still inside giving one final motivational speech.
"Are you tired, Michael?" Nora asked with a hint of concern. We hadn't slept much lately and were both tired.
"Just a bit. But first I have to test Kallisto. You should go rest, Nora." I said, my voice soft yet serious. Nora nodded and let out a soft sigh followed by a chuckle.
"You just can't ignore a possible challenge, can you?" Nora mumbled as she walked off, a smile on her face. It was true, it had been so long since I had faced someone who could match up to me in strength. I was curious to what Kallisto could be hiding. The fact that she was made with some of my DNA excited me. Maybe she could rival me? I slowly walked into the lab, there was a large dome and Kallisto was waiting inside. Doctor Eso approached me.
"Mr. Forte, Kallisto is ready to spar with you. I also got ready this dome which should be strong enough to withstand the weight of two castles." Eso said proudly. I nodded, mostly ignoring his words as I walked in. Kallisto seemed excited, rather cocky as she probably never got a beating before.
"So you're Kali's next toy huh?" She said with a large smile. I could sense the fire growing in her.
"Don't be so sure of yourself." I replied, my voice like the whisper of a shadow.
"Papa said Kali can beat anyone!" Kallisto yelled as she got into fighting stance.
"Bring it on, dragon!" I said, the excitement of what she would display was creeping up on me.
"Kali will regret making you let Kali attack first!" Kallisto yelled as she dashed towards me. She was fast alright. Just as I had sensed, her capabilities were around 40% of my total power making her arguably the strongest opponent I had faced if we go by raw power of course. The Demon King had Blessed Abilities which made him a strong and dangerous foe yet Kallisto possesses none as she isn't a naturally born being but still, her physical abilities and mana capacity was the strongest I had ever faced. She was only bound to using basic magic because of her unnatural birth yet that was more than enough for her. I dodged a barrage of punches and kicks before dashing back to avoid a few blasts she sent my way. I decided not to enhance my already powerful abilities with my Blessed Abilities to keep it as fair as possible. Kallisto felt embarrassed that she couldn't land a hit on me, it made her mad.
"Kali will make you pay for making her feel like this!" She yelled in a fit of rage then proceeded to send possibly a thousand mana blasts at me, breaking the dome that Eso had created leaving him shocked by the level of power, which I blocked with some basic defensive magic leaving her rather shocked but she quickly came back to her senses and threw another punch at me which I barely caught as her rage boosted her up to 50% of my power.
"Enough playing around... kneel..." I said, my voice stern. I then used my Blessed Ability: Total Skill to gain any skill or ability I desired. I obtained an ability to control the gravity of others which I immediately activated. Kallisto's eyes widened as she was brought to a kneeling position by the intense gravity which stopped soon after.
"You're strong, I'm impressed." Just as I was going to leave I heard her let out a small cry. I turned back and saw tears running down her face. I immediately spoke up.
"Stand proud, you're the strongest foe I have faced. Learn this power." I said coldly. Kallisto slowly stood up and wiped her tears, she then gave me a bow before running off making Eso chase after her. I let out a sigh and started walking to my room but was approached by Queen Melody.
"How was It? Did she surprise you?" Melody asked. I gave her a nod.
"Yes but she needs training, and she needs to learn that there's a world other than this bunker." I replied.
"I see, I wasn't such a big fan of keeping her here anyways so I want you to promise me you will take her along with you once the situation here is dealt with." Melody said.
"It's up to her. She doesn't really want to go with me and after I beat her I doubt she will even want to see me." I stated. Melody let out a chuckle.
"We'll see. Now go rest, Michael." She said and I nodded.
"Yes ma'am." I said before going to my room where I saw Nora on her bed in her White Tiger state, crawled up and fast asleep. I quietly got into my bed and shut the lights before falling asleep.
