Kyoraku Shunsui's face changed.
Next to him, Aizen Sōsuke pushed his glasses up, a gleam shining in his eyes as he stared at the Gedo Statue.
"This is getting interesting."
Ichimaru Gin smiled slyly, looking at Nanaya with anticipation.
Byakuya Kuchiki and Jūshirō Ukitake frowned slightly but said nothing, just watching quietly.
Zaraki Kenpachi's eyes lit up with excitement but he didn't join Hitsugaya's attack.
The white ice spread over the Gedo Statue's body.
Within seconds, half the giant statue was covered in ice, like a demon frozen for centuries.
Seeing this, Nanaya looked up at Hitsugaya and said:
"You Shinigami are so annoying. You think you're so proud, even a kid like you acts like this."
He had a good impression of Hitsugaya when reading the original story, but now Hitsugaya was the first to attack.
Yoruichi shook her head and said to Nanaya, "Of course. You're human, so what you call negotiation is just a challenge to Shinigami's authority."
Nanaya nodded silently.
He understood that to Shinigami, humans were weak creatures who needed protection.
