Covey gazed at the castle with undisguised appreciation.
"The Underground are a bunch of scum, but they sure do have good taste."
Sullivan walked ahead of her. "This way. When you see Bloom later, try not to startle her, okay? She doesn't know you're coming."
She hurried to his side and gave him a gentle punch on the shoulder. "Hey, I might be her therapist, but Bloom and I are close. She'll be happy to see me."
She eyed him carefully. "And how are you? I know yesterday can't have been easy."
Sullivan turned mid-stride to glance at her. "I'm fine. It's Bloom you should be worried about."
She nodded. "I am. But remember, I'm also your friend. If you need to talk, I'm all ears."
When Sullivan didn't reply, she laughed and patted his shoulder. "Come on, you already pay me an insane amount of money. Might as well get your money's worth."
