"Put him in this room. The twins are eating their dinner at the moment, so they'll be a little late for the experiment," said the high-ranking officer. At his word, the lower-ranking officers shoved Auran into a solitary room with no visible escape route. Afterward, they locked the door. Thankfully, there was at least a light source in the room for Auran.
Auran calmly laid on the floor. There was a reason for this—there was no furniture or anything else in the room. Just a cold floor and a single light source. The perfect room for securing prisoners.
"Experiment… twins," he muttered, repeating the words he remembered hearing. As he pondered more deeply on them, an ominous feeling crept into his mind.
"Well, this won't do."
From under his clothes, he pulled out a chunk of Tentagun and began his own work.

Meanwhile, in their own residence, the two twins were leisurely enjoying their dinner—a roasted steak with artful gravy. The way they ate made them look like greedy beasts in the form of men.
"Excuse me, sirs," an officer entered, a low-ranking one assigned to attend to the twins' needs.
"The prisoner you requested has already been brought in," he said respectfully.
"You guys are fast," Alric replied. Galric, on the other hand, showed no interest in responding as he continued eating.
"Cuff him to our experiment table. And if possible, take a blood sample—oh wait, I don't think you could manage that. Just cuff him to the table. That'll be all," Alric added casually. The officer nodded and left with a bow.
"Do you think this guy will work? You know if he also shows incompatibility, this will be our last experiment, right?" Galric asked, temporarily pausing his meal.
"This will be our last experiment in this place—don't worry about that. If this one fails, all that happens is one more body added to the pile of failed experiments," Alric said nonchalantly as he finished his dinner.
Pondering his words, Galric nodded his head, realizing a moment later that what Alric said was true. Afterward, he returned to eating his delicious steak.
. . . . . . . . . . . . .
Tang! Tang! Tang!
In the solitary room, Auran was sweating heavily. In his hand was an object resembling a rope, which he was shaping with great difficulty by hammering it against the only hard surface he could find—the floor.
The sound of the impacts echoed sharply in the confined space.
Phew!
After a few minutes of pounding, Auran observed the object he had crafted using all the Tentagun he had with him. Finally, a smile appeared on his face.
"Success!"
"Now onto the next part."
With that, Auran stood up and took a deep breath. After a moment of calm, he slowly lifted the solid rope-like object made from Tentagun and touched it to the mana-suppressing collar around his neck.
Chizz!
Suddenly, an electric spark erupted. A wave of electricity surged outward, but all of it was absorbed into the rope-like device. However, a faint surge of current still coursed through Auran's body, leaving him numb all over.
Despite the pain, he endured it and moved the tip of the rope in a motion that resembled drawing something. The end of the rope traced paths across the collar like the brush of a painter across canvas, using the electric energy from the collar to leave a trail of sparks along the wire where Auran moved it.
"When I first thought about how to remove this thing around my neck, the most barbaric method came to mind—just break it by force. It was a straightforward idea, something that woman with the fiery personality would probably suggest. But for someone like me, it wasn't a suitable approach."
"So, I pondered deeply on this question. With the help of my newfound ability, an idea slowly took shape in my mind. The goal was to nullify the mana-suppression feature of the collar—that's what made it so dangerous in the first place."
"But even with the idea, the problem still remained—how exactly could I nullify it? I had dozens of approaches, but all of them failed... until this one came to me."
"Basically, the dangerous part of the collar isn't the collar itself. It's the highly concentrated mana embedded inside it. What if I could draw that mana out of it? Doing so would render the collar useless."
"To do that, I needed to extract the mana from my body, out through the collar. I already knew the answer to that—something I'd once used to my advantage. It was the concept of mana sensitivity. But this time, I needed a level of sensitivity beyond anything I currently possessed in my body."
"I knew that with the time rift in my mind my mana sensitivity had reached incredible levels. What I now required was a source capable of generating an overwhelming amount of mana surpassing that."
"This was a question I couldn't answer a few days ago. But now… now I have a new ability. A mysterious one that seems to grant me knowledge from the past."
So I thought deeply, aided by this newfound ability, while enduring the pain in my head caused by the shaking circles. Then, this new piece of knowledge spread in my mind like wildfire.
It was the new path of magic—one that used an element to cast: oztic Magic. And among the spells I discovered, there was one that could generate a massive amount of mana sensitivity, enough to overwhelm even my own. I was truly surprised.
Oztic Magic, it's a sub magic field to the rune magic but hidden since ancient times. it had very few resources available because it's a path passed down only through a strict master-and-disciple lineage. As such, it's extremely difficult to decipher or even find any authentic oztic-language spells outside those exclusive bloodlines.
Yet, in my head, there appeared a complete and intact oztic-language spell that I had never seen or heard of before. It was incredible. And from that alone, I began to understand the true value of my new ability.
"Now all I have to do is find an element and forge the rune while the two sources — the necklace and the spell — are connected. And if my prediction is correct, then since the tentagun is connected to the coller, and through the tentagun the mana sensitivity from the spell can be felt by the coller, it would guide the concentrated empty mana to this new source, thinking that this new source is within my body. That would result in emptying the concentrated mana inside my body. If I took that chance, I could cast a spell to get rid of this all."
