The universe stretched endlessly in all directions—a boundless ocean of darkness illuminated by glittering stars, each a tiny beacon within the infinite. Amid this majestic canvas, what appeared to be two radiant stars hovered gently beside one another, shimmering brighter than their celestial brethren. If an astrologist or even a mere star enthusiast could pick up a telescope or advanced viewing device they would notice these anomalies immediately. The first star pulsed rhythmically, communicating with her quiet companion, her voice whispering softly through the vast silence of space.
"You see her, don't you?" she began, her voice echoing melodically across the cosmos. "My sweet, sweet Anissa. Look how she glows, how confidently she now weaves herself free from destiny's grasp. Oh the plans I have this one, hahaha." Her laugh caused soft ripples in space causing most stars to drift away.
The silent star flickered faintly, absorbing each word as they gazed together at Viltrum, light-years away yet easily within their divine sight. Their cosmic senses effortlessly pierced through atmospheres, barriers, and privacy itself, settling gently upon Anissa's quarters. There she was, gloriously immersed in pleasure—her powerful body dominating Lira and Flora, guiding them through passionate embraces, their moans softly rippling across the celestial observers' senses.
"Although she still need to learn much but oh, how far she's come," the speaking star whispered excitedly, cosmic energies pulsing with genuine pleasure. Her luminous essence throbbed gently, arousal and admiration mixing freely within her celestial form. "She defies fate and reshapes reality itself. Beautifully dangerous."
"Oh yes I know it's thanks to my interference but all I gave her was a little nudge to really accept her true feelings in a powerful race full of prudes, haha." The speaking star moved, agreeing with the other star. It was true that the Viltrumites weren't the type to 'get in touch with their feelings' except if it was bloodlust like certain Viltrumites.
The quiet star pulsed gently in acknowledgment, silently urging her companion to continue. These beings were not necessarily hot balls of boiling gas but they shone so brightly now that they might as well be considered as stars in the observable universe.
"This school," the goddess continued thoughtfully, "this little tactical experiment that Viltrum thought might teach strategic subtlety—it's doomed. Thragg and the council will burn it away soon, leaving nothing but ashes. But funny enough, if they had left this school to grow, I don't think they will ever have an equal in conquest, they would be an invincible wall of myriad strategies." Her voice softened, full of quiet determination.
"But Anissa… Anissa is the flaw in their perfect plans. She'll break them, crack this timeline, unravel threads they've so carefully woven. Oh, I just want to see it now."
Suddenly, the vast cosmos around them rippled dramatically. What looked like a colourful wormhole blossomed vividly like a flower around the two celestial entities—an astonishing corridor of luminescent beauty in all it's glory. Colours exploded in stunning vibrancy, each hue entwining gracefully with the next: deep emerald greens merged harmoniously into electric blues, vivid purples danced sensually with fiery reds, and shimmering gold and silver threads wrapped lovingly around it all. This cosmic ballet stretched endlessly, a breathtaking spectacle defying comprehension or limit. It was like a cocktail performance of colours one could drink in an appreciation, like art that could bring tears to the eyes of an observing child, naïve in judgement but pure in thought to take in such beauty.
Within this dazzling cosmic highway, the stars' forms shifted smoothly, their celestial radiance compressing elegantly into godly humanoid shapes. The first goddess smiled gently, features shimmering with divine beauty, a halo of cosmic energy crowning her luminous head. Her companion stood equally radiant beside her, their powerful forms illuminating the infinite tunnel.
"I did influence the council," she whispered conspiratorially, eyes twinkling mischievously. "That prominent member who recalled Anissa to this academy? That was my doing. Perhaps I've interfered too much—enough to risk collapsing this reality." She laughed softly, unconcerned. "Yet, I cannot stop myself. She remains too rigid, my sweet Anissa. Hmm, what to do? Any more and I could risk permanent collapse."
The first goddess was clearly worried about her actions affecting the state of Anissa's universe, she was after all no common passerby or a mere dimensional warper like Angstrom Levy, she and her partner were much more than that. Consistent actions from such powerful entities in a container like Anissa's universe were akin to an adult human playing dollhouse inside a fragile glass snowglobe. In this instance, the hand of the human would fill the snow globe so much that the human would only be able to fit three fingers in to play with the snowman or figures inside the globe and could only do that for so long before the globe cracks and breaks apart.
Her companion whispered something softly, unheard by mortal ears. The goddess's eyes brightened, joy and excitement flooding her celestial expression.
"What a brilliant idea," she murmured lovingly, leaning forward to press a tender, glowing kiss against her partner's lips, their cosmic energies intertwining beautifully, amplifying the wormhole's mesmerizing dance of colors.
Ahead, within the tunnel's brilliant hues, a small blue planet appeared, adorned vibrantly with flashing lights and pulsating rhythmic thumping music, a joyous cosmic party awaiting their divine arrival. Suddenly, an immense celestial wolf's head emerged before them, impossibly large and decorated with a glittering golden chain and an oversized party cap.
The celestial wolf head came at them with a growl like it was the defender of that small blue planet behind it.
The aura around the giant wolf head was tense and ready to attack until it made a 360 and regarded them with friendly scrutiny, then howled joyfully before addressing: "Yo, yo, yo! Didn't know ya queens were hittin' Casey's 30th Party World tonight! Welcome aboard!"
The two divine figures laughed openly, delighted by the absurd yet warm greeting. Drinks appeared instantly within their luminous hands, clinking softly as they cheered. Immediately, they vanished joyfully into the bustling planet below, the wolf's head howling again with celebratory glee.
Back on planet Viltrum, Anissa sat in her office, stacks of students' test papers spread neatly across her wide, polished desk. Her eyes scanned each report meticulously, her brow occasionally twitching with frustration or amusement.
Some of the test answers were depressingly naïve, reflecting the rigid conditioning of Viltrumite society. "Strategic subtlety is weakness" read one particularly irksome answer, causing her to sigh deeply. She shook her head gently, wondering if these students had listened at all.
But some answers made her pause thoughtfully, eyebrow raised in mild shock or bemusement. One student's essay wandered into such vividly bizarre territory that Anissa could only guess what psychedelic-inspired hallucination might have produced such words—even though such substances were utterly forbidden on Viltrum. She smiled softly, reflecting on her experiences across countless worlds—knowing intimately some planets whose inhabitants would willingly intoxicate themselves for such an experience which is something beyond the imagination of the average Viltrum. Those worlds held more mysteries than her students could fathom.
Another student's absurdly bold answers nearly, NEARLY, drew laughter from her—a rare occurrence and emotion amongst Viltrumites.
"Combat is best won through romantic seduction," one student wrote earnestly. Anissa paused, shaking her head with reluctant amusement. Romantic seduction as combat? She was certainly testing that theory herself lately. She knew this could only be Flora fucking with her here and she checked, yep, the name checked out nicely. What would she know about romance? What does Anissa herself even know about romance? But all sorts of books captured from conquered planets were in the library of this school so the understanding of romance by reading about wouldn't be far fetched but this will be one of the reasons the school will be scrapped in the future due to such corrupting knowledge from 'weaker worlds'.
Yet, despite these absurdities, gratitude filled her heart. Whoever had established this academy understood Viltrum's dangerous arrogance—sending warriors unprepared to dominate planets without proper infiltration training or tactical wisdom. She vividly remembered those lost, broken warriors returning from missions, defeated or humiliated. The dead weren't remembered much. Yes, this school mattered more than the council realized.
Outside the office, unseen by Anissa, a shadowy figure lingered nervously, hidden partially in the corridor's dim lighting. A student watched silently, heart racing anxiously. She admired Anissa—her strength, confidence, and now her unexpected kindness and sensuality evident to those daring enough to see. The student's hands trembled gently, desperately wanting to approach, yet fearful of rejection. But more afraid of these uncomfortable feelings within her.
She stepped closer, breath catching in her throat, willing herself to speak. Her presence lingered tentatively, unsure yet hopeful. She knew her feelings were foolish, dangerous even—but that made them all the more irresistible.
"I can hear your stupidly fast heartbeat you know."
